The interest rate was a bit lower than Sallie Mae or other banks, but there were so many forms to fill out and records to submit. With Sallie Mae I didn’t have to send W2 and other records. They approved the loan and after I signed the promissory note the money was at my school within a week. This process took about a month and was a bit tedious with several emails requesting more documents and signatures

We had an overall good experience with EDvestinU. The best part were the customer service people we spoke with over the phone, who were very helpful. Things that could be improved are the wait time for approvals and documents, and the website where one downloads and uploads documents and completes things like signatures - that wasn't very clear in indicating the status of actions or showing when documents had been received or approved.

The process took a long time to complete, probably due to Covid and many people waiting to see if schools would actually open, and then you got overloaded.
However, there were multiple false alarm emails that would require me to call often to get our loan explained, clarified and completed, which was very frustrating.
