Shun Premier 7" Santoku Knife (TDM0702)
I got this knife along with another and its so nice and feels good to use. Very easy to maintain as long as you aren’t being stupid with it and cuts really good. Feels comfortable to hold for long periods of time. Highly recommend.

Kizer Hyper Aluminum Blue Red (Ki3632A1)
Bought the Kizer Hyper, it's a sharp, clean looking knife. Needed a bit of tuning up because it slowly comes loose on screws. Sadly in the short period I had it some of the coating is coming off the scales. Glad I purchased and just made another purchase 5min ago.

CRKT Hissatsu Fixed Blade (2907K)
Package came on time and I’m very happy with the product. Knife didn’t come insanely sharp but it pokes holes in anything with ease. The grip is well made and feels great in the hand. The sheath is very well made and the knife fits nice and snug with no rattling. All in all a great purchase!

Wusthof Gourmet 4.5" Paring Knife (4045;1025048112)
The knife is really comfortable to hold. I sharpened it and could shave the hair off my arm. It kept its sharp edge after a week of use. The steel is excellent. My very favourite knife.

SOG Flash AT Blackout (11-18-01-57)
Pros:
-Excellent styling.
-Deep pocket carry.
-D2 Steel.
Cons:
- Knife would not deploy at all using the thumb studs. Had to open it manually which defeats the purpose of the AT. I don't know whether or not this was a defect or a break in period is needed.
- Too big for edc imo.
- Spine lock is unnessesary and does not look good.
- AT system is overcomplicated and will reduce the repairability of the knife long term.
I wanted to like this knife, and it's awesome styling is one of the reasons I give it 3 stars and not 2; having D2 steel is good too. However the knife's overcomplicated AT system that seems to have broken before I could even use it is a big problem.
I ended up returning the knife in the end and can't really recommend it, but maybe this kind of knife will work better for others.

Shiro Kamo SG2 Gyuto 210mm (G-4304A)
My knife spent its journey from BC to Ontario banging around a cardboard box, outside its original box (it was nested in its lid), with no additional padding, no elastic band to hold anything together. Shiro Kamo is a dento kogeishi; a certified master craftsman. The lack of respect towards your customers and the very products that you sell (this one in particular is both a well crafted tool and a piece of art) means this is the last time I will ever deal with you.

I have an old model - wooden base, 2 round rods. Works great. Bought this one as gift, it does no better than my old one, which is still very good but changes don't warrant high price.

Grohmann #2 Trout & Bird Water Buffalo Horn Stainless with Sheath (W2S)
Grohmann Knives are a Canadian classic. The No. 1 and 2 are very slicey knives that are ideal camp/cook knives that are up to light bushcraft tasks, but I'm probably not using it for batoning wood. The ergonomics on these knives is exceptional. The carbon steel blades are always the best versions of these knives, but if you live on the Wet Coast or use it for fishing, the stainless steel blade might be a good idea.
