Spyderco Resilience Black Blade (C142PBBK)
I had a Spyderco Rescue about 20 years ago and considered it "ok." Not really worth the money and I avoided Spyderco since. I decided ty again. This is a nice knife with good action, good finish on the blade and overall. It still seems to be made from the same materials as my old one but it's in every way better. A bit on the large side for pocket carry but ideal for around the house, shop, or camping.

I am so glad you decided to try again! Like most things that survive the test of time Spyderco has never stopped evolving, it paid off eh

CRKT Provoke Zap (4041G)
I love the knife. Wanted the full aluminum version but the savings on this was too good to pass up. So far it seems perfectly durable so I have no doubt it will hold up just as well in the long term. The bright colour should keep me from losing it. An impressive design over all.

Perfect for a 5th pocket carry if you wear jeans. Can't really flick it open though.
Response from House of Knives

Smaller knives that dont have assist can be a little tougher to flick for sure, if you have torqs you could try loosening the main pivot a wee bit to see if it moves faster for you. Thanks for the review Nathan!

Leatherman SkeleTool CX (830963)
This is a very well made product .love that you can open and close knife blade with one hand . This tool is very compact to carry in your pocket. The only complaint I have is it does not have the carbon fibre as illustrated. Found out that they stopped putting carbon fibre some time ago on this model . Only cosmetic feature but still a very nice tool . Tool is all stainless and that is a nice feature.

Leatherman Arc (833076)
Got this as a new EDC and has already been put to use more times than I'd thought. Very well made and everything operates perfectly.
Slightly dissapointed with the included sheath, just seems unnecessarily bulky. Will ultimately change that to something sleeker.
Value wise, definitely could do with being $50 cheaper.

CRKT Razelcliffe Compact (4021)
you got be careful how you open it, I sliced my palm under my thumb a couple time when opening it with the flipper tab.
I bought it along a Kershaw shuffle DIY to see which one would be most useful at work, and because of the palm slice I've been using the shuffle so far. But I'm looking forward to giving the Razelcliffe compact an other go at work eventually. the blade is super sharp.

CIVIVI Button Lock Elementum II G10 Black (C18062P-1)
I've seen the Elementum constantly listed at the top of EDC lists. Now Civivi has combined the flick and button lock versions, so I figured I'd pick one up. I couldn't be more pleased. Comes razor sharp right out of the box. It's action is smooth. It's got a minimalistic look to it that I quite enjoy. Also Nitro V steel! It's almost too pretty to use! Also a wonderful experience dealing with the honorable house of knives. You all never disappoint!
