After I opened the box I thought it was a joke ! A 3/4 long blade that digs into your fingers when you put the smallest amount of pressure on it…..save your money n buy something that’s useful

Microplane Premium Classic Zester Black (46020)
This zested is awesome! It is easy to use, gets tons of zest from your fruit and come with a protective shield. Would definitely recommend.

Its a game changer once you start really using zest, and the right tool makes all the difference eh!

Shun Kitchen Shears (DM7240)
Well those heavy duty babies make short work of prepping a whole chicken into pieces. Nice to have a quality set of scissors/shears for some of those jobs where a sharp knife might cause an accident!!

CRKT Woods T-Hawk Replacement Handle (2730-2;303184)
Incredibly pleased with the price and the fast shipping. These are solid and quite pleasing to the eye. Buy a couple at this price! One never knows what will befall our hawks in the future!

Of the handle and the actual axe head I think its safe to say the handle will need replacement first, and second, and probably tenth lol

CIVIVI Brazen Black G10 (C2102C)
The shipment was super fast, however, this brazen didn't as sharp as I expect.
I know it was unfair to compare between the Civivi Brazen and Benchmade Bugout M390. But the M390 was really sharper than the Brazen.
The brazen action is smooth, good knife. I will try to sharpen my Brazen and cut some paper again.

More Robust Leek Blade

Kershaw Random Leek (1660R)
The Random Leek features a Reverse-Tanto type blade (similar to a Wharncliffe). This is a more robust blade than the standard Leek, and may be more appropriate for those looking for heavier duty usage.

UCO Gear Utility Spork 4 Pack With Tether Terra (F-SP-UT-4PK-TERRA)
I purchased these to carry in the car glove compartment in case I'm out and need a utensil to eat food on the road. In Canada, many plastic single use cutlery has been banned and the utensils offered by on-the-go restaurants are not always ideal (or forgotten). Having a set of these in the car solves that problem
These are light and flexible but still sturdy enough for most foods. They are designed to work with UCO bowls but they work just as fine with anything. The fork side does have a small serrated edge for separating food into pieces.
I guess the only downside is that you can only use one side at a time but that really isn't a problem for me.
The price was right too - more economical than lesser quality items at local stores.
These should last a while but if I ever need more, I wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

Benchmade Bugout Grivory Alpine Glow (535BK-06)
House of Knives regularly advertises items as “On Sale” but shows a marked up cost that they have in reality brought down to what they call their “Sale Price” I’m certain most consumers know this but it may be misleading to people new to the EDC community or somebody starting a hobby, or just looking for one knife. I’ve found that Blades Canada has better prices and faster shipping.the Bugout itself is already overpriced by the OEM. I wish I had passed on this knife. Pretty disappointed in its size. S30V is decent steel but not for this tiny amount of it with fibreglass plastic “Grivery” scales. Spyderco is a much better bang for you’re buck.
