It's nothing revolutionary but I never knew how much needed it. Going away for a weekend I'd usually being a rotation of knives a long. I would store them in rolled up socks as not to scratch echother. This is a hell of a lot better than that.

With the sale of Cold Steel to GSM and the old guard of designers no longer working there, older designs like the Tiger Claw are even more appealing now while they last. This an Andrew Demko design, complete with his solid TRI-AD lock and updated with S35VN steel. Hawksbill blades are ideal if you're doing a lot of cutting of cord, rope, or bindings. My only issue for this knife is the thinness of the handle, which makes it easier to carry, but I prefer a handle with a bit more swelling to fit my hand better for a work knife. For someone with smaller hands or who prefer a flatter handle this wouldn't be an issue.
