I’m very pleased with this honing steel. It is an inch longer than old one and seems to do a much better job of getting a sharp edge on my knives again. I like the ribbed and flat combination to choose from.

Purchased the Civivi Pintail from HoK after comparing/researching a number of different folding knives from various makers and this one hit the mark. It has premium S35VN steel that is super sharp and micarta handle coming in at sub 3” blade, 3.94" closed, and 6.92" overall, making it a perfect EDC knife, weighting 2.76oz / 78.3g. It also has two way to open with flipper and blad studs. The ceramic bearings give it a real smooth action and styling is on point with a classic modern look. The purchase came quick, faster than expected, and was packaged nicely. I couldn't be happier. Would highly recommend.

this knife is by far the best knife i have ever use, flawless construction, strong and smooth action (it even have ceramic ball bearing!)

So I am not a knife guy, until now. I am getting into bikepacking and needed a couple knives. Did my research and settled on the Civivi Cogent. So far it has not disappointed. Action is effortless and smooth, and it is slimmer than I thought it would be and it has become an EDC for me. I heard that the clip can be noticeable when handling the knife, I have not found this to be the case. The case for it was an added bonus I was not expecting. For the money spent, I could not be any happier with my purchase.

Great buy very well made

Nice knife and love the opening action. Service from house of knives was awesome. My disappointment came from the factory sharpening. Yes, it was sharp, but did not cut paper very well and I had no fear running it accross my hand. The Buck knife I bought at Canadian Tire on sale had a better factory edge

Super useful and even safe for kids, as the knife blade is just plastic. Still pretty sharp for cooked food to cut.

Great quality and a reasonable price point. Thanks!

Too small, it's hard to open
But , it's really sharpy, finally i like it

I purchased this knife at the Seven Oaks Location. I have been wanting this for a while. It is an excellent size for EDC. The blade shape is great for most cutting chores a person may have. It is a liner lock with a secondary safety which is excellent. The Pocket clip is of the same synthetic handle material and is easier on pant pockets than the metal clips. The handle shape makes it fit like a glove in my hand. The sort of bamboo shape with its indents and slots allows for perspiration to flow free from a great thus reducing chances of slippage when wet. Nice jimping on the liners. I have to say the gun metal grey with the black gives it a nice classic look with the secondary lock that same gun metal grey. Well thought out design and presentation. The only thing I can really think of changing is better quality steel for the blade-like maybe vg10 or sk5 or aus8. But I have no complaints about the 8cr13mov for an EDC. It does keep the costs low. Out of the box with a very nice edge that was even nice after a few minutes on a Lansky at 25 degrees. I am giving it a 4 star but in retrospect, it should be a 4.5!

Love the sharp blade, it flips out nice and smoothly. Perfect size for my pockets!

This updated version of the Cormorant is a fantastic knife. It has a hollow-ground S35VN blade, ball bearings in the pivot, very grippy two-tone G10 handle scales and a reversible deep carry pocket clip.
It came from the factory perfectly centered, with a very sharp edge.
The action is very good and has multiple deployment methods, although the detent is just a little too strong for me to use the front flipper.
I had it shipped to my local store, customer service is always good.

I love the knife so far, smooth opening action, perfect fit, and finish except for one thing. The axis lock is super stiff. Like, grainy, crunchy, putting dangerous amounts of force into closing it stiff. I'm sure that I could easily fix it with a little disassembly and lubing, but for a brand new knife out of the box that costs over $300, I shouldn't have to. My mini grip came a little stiff at first, but it was broken in within 10 minutes of flipping it open and closed. So far it's been 15 and I'm seeing no difference.

Cool little knives

I didn't like the blade shape on this when I first got it but now it's a regular carry and I kind of love its odd style. The button lock is nifty and the action is smooth and fun. And you can't beat the price.

This is easily the most bang for buck of any knife I've purchased -- the price is low, the steel is great, the action is wonderful (very fidgety), and it looks great. Easily among my top-rated knives, a regular carry, and largely competes with my Towser K in red micarta.

This is a fantastic multi tool. It is likely one of the largest multi tools on the market. I encourage anybody looking to research throughly. For me, it was exactly what I was after. Adaptability for 1/4” bits and sockets is awesome. Blades are all nice and sharp, alignment of all tools and quality seems good. I also have old SOG power lock and pocket plier from when SOG started, still says patent pending on them and they are still going strong. House of Knives is much nicer to deal with even over OEM SOG. Thanks

Sheath is of good quality. Fits tight to the hatchet. Not much else to say about it.

Amazing knife quickly became my edc

Really sleek and light design, comfortable to hold and use, plus it holds a nice edge too.
Overall great multipurpose blade.
