Benchmade Barrage (580)
Absolutely love it. I had a Volli for many years. Unfortunately lost it and now this is my new daily carry. Smooth, simple single hand action and extremely comfortable in the hand.

Purchased it as a grad gift for my son. He loved it and if he takes care of it should last him the rest of his life. Very good quality and well made.

You couldn't be more right Jess. This knife is one of those knives that were made to be passed down through the generations.

Leatherman Skeletool Sublime Green Multi Tool (832208)
You can’t go wrong with a Leatherman. The Skeletool is a great lightweight carry that covers the basics you need in a multi tool. I carry a desert tan model everyday for work and have purchased the sublime green one for my sons birthday for his first multi tool.

We agree with you Justin and what an awesome birthday gift! Please wish your son a Happy Birthday from all of us at House of Knives.

Kizer Splinter Rainbow Titanium (Ki3457A2)
Nicely slim and a subtle rainbow hue to the titanium scales makes this knife an excellent carry for more formal occasions. I am thoroughly pleased to add this unique looking knife to my collection.

You have fantastic taste Justin! First the Leatherman for your son and then this! The Splinter is one of those knives that pictures or words can not do it justice. Congrats on a beautiful addition to your collection!

Benchmade Bugout Black Blade (535BK-2)
Didn't like it at all. Felt cheap. I have a Crooked River and a Griptilian, both super nice with a quality feel, the Bugout didn't have that feel at all...

HI Dax! Sorry to hear the Bugout wasn't for you. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and I sincerely hope you find something that feels better to you.

Kershaw OSO Sweet (1830)
Excellent deployment. Fairly sharp out of the box. I did a quick run over a 1000 grit ceramic stone and a few strops, razor sharp now. Thanks and will deal again soon.

SOG Salute Mini G10 (FF1001-CP)
Blade action is so stiff that one-handed extraction of the blade is impossible, and the release spring is so stiff it takes two thumbs to depress. Nothing like the spring assist release on my lost SOG. LIke the blade shape, and the handle is well made, comfortable for my hand, although rather heavy. Worth the 1/2 sale price, but at full price it would be going back. Really good service from HOK, though.

Thank you for acknowledging our service Rene. I am really sorry you were not overly excited about your knife. I am hoping that as you play with it, it will loosen up and become just as awesome as the one you lost.
