I like the little pocket idea, but question it’s durability.

Global G Series 8.5" Bread Knife (G-9)
I’m very happy with my new serrated edge knife. It replaces one that was purchased from a discounter. I can’t believe the difference. This knife cost considerably more however I now see that the cheap one was a waste of money.

It looked fine but I returned it for the ranger 79 version which is a bit larger.

Spyderco Ladybug 3 Purple FRN (LPRP3)
The good:
Well constructed knife. Beware this is VERY small. Excellent blade steel, very sharp out of box, beautiful FRN scales. Would look awesome as a key chain accessory. Made in knife city Seki, Japan, so cool to know that you're getting a knife from there.
The bad: Price is a bit over the top to be honest, at $60 plus tax, there is a lot of competition at that price. BUT it is a Spyderco, which is backed by a good warranty...which you can't use in Canada.
Final thoughts: hard to justify the price, but I wanted it because it is a high quality knife, great steel at VG-10, strong lock back mechanism and an amazing on the go slicer (better than any knife you will find in a Swiss Army knife). And its purple :)

Cold Steel Kiridashi (CS-20KPL)
The good:
Excellent factory edge, very sharp out of the box, great ergonomic handle. Good for opening boxes, packages and that sort. Has a tri-ad lock so you know this knife will never fail you when in use.
The bad: Very difficult to open one handed because of the tri-ad lock. I don't think this type of locking mechanism is meant for smaller knives. Even after loosening the pivot screw, it is still difficult to open one handed without the fear of the blade snapping back closed.

I really like the style of these knives. Great for the office or a formal event. Tucks away nicely and resembles a pen. Thumb stud takes some getting used to.

Black Tusk Arete Sand Combination Edge (ART-SD-50)
Nice blade, however, the opening/closing is quite stiff. It will need some screw adjustment or a little time to work it in.

It's not really something I needed or wanted, but it was free, so nothing to coming about. Aside from maybe having the option to decline, if you want to reduce waste.

Awesome product! Bought it as a gift for a car fanatic who loves the colour orange. Matches with his 1969 Camero ❤️
