I just Shaped and Sharpened my Kershaw that gets abused in the work truck . It took about 15-20 minutes to get this knife sharp enough to slice through paper without tearing. Worth the buy if you want to easily repeatable results on many different knives.

Great knife sharpener it does as advertised . I hope you will come up with some finer grit plates or blank plates so some lapping film can be used. One fix I found when sharpening long blade knives is when sharpening is when you get to the ends tip or handle you will have as much as 3 degree deviation. So what I came up with is mark where the deviation starts and adjust you angle to compensate. Another issue since she use magnets to hold your plates in place. It will magnetized your knives. If you use a map and compass like I do when I go hiking, it will throw your compass off. I suggest degaussing and your blades after you sharpen them.

This thing is AWESOME! Im a knife maker and have tried several other guided sharpeners, from name brand to homemade and have never gotten consistent, hair popping sharpness like I have with this! I just received this today and have takes 6 knives from pretty sharp to what I call stupid sharp! I was a bit apprehensive about the cost but its really worth it!

Love this knife sharpener!! I used to dread sharpening my knives because I couldn't get them as sharp as I wanted. Work Sharp changed that for me with the Precision Adjust sharpener. Now I've upgraded to the Pro Precision adjust. Literally within a week of having this, every possible sharp object in my house has the sickest edge. The Pro just bumps it up a notch.

I have the first one that come out and I bought this new one and it works way better than the first one. I would recommend this to whoever needs a good knife sharpener the only downside is, it does not come with a case. Like the first one did I would recommending making a case for it.

I was a bit skeptical after reading all the reviews; I had very high expectations. And all that said, Im absolutely thrilled with not only how quickly my knives were razor sharp, but how adaptable the Pro is. My littlest pocket knives and my biggest Buck knife can shave my face. Totally love this excellent tool. It will stay in my truck so I will never have a full knife - whether its the turkey woods or the whitetail woods.

Tengo otros metodos de guiado mas caros y mas baratos. Por el precio, he de reconocer que es el mejor, en el sentido, de que por 300$ no vas a encontrar nada mejor. Buenas piedras y facilidad de uso.El montaje es muy, pero muy sencillo. con tornillos que se pueden ajustar con la mano, lo que hace que el montaje y desmontaje, no sea ninguna molestia.El tapete que se ve en publicidades, deberia venir, ya que como guia y como soporte, para no manchar la mesa de birutas, me parece algo impresindible. Un obsequio o cobrado, que haria la delicias de los que no tenemos una mesa de trabajo.La caja como bien indican de carton para los accesorios, le quitan ese toque premium del producto, pero hace su funcion.Para mi, el mayor error, es la sujeccion de la varilla. el tornillo superior se afloja con mucha facilidad. Que no se incluya algo tan barato como una llave allen, me parece imperdonable (o que se pueda apretar con la mano, como la base).El producto, un Gran Producto. No hay ninguna duda. Espero que con el tiempo, vaya saliendo piedras y placas limpias para peliculas de lija.

All I can say is, WOW! I can't free a great sharp edge. I can get a kitchen knife sharp enough to use in the kitchen.I have an old Sears Grey brick and a Spyderco Spyderco Tri-Angle Sharpmaker and it works well but...I saw the PROFESSIONAL PRECISION ADJUST KNIFE SHARPENER at the Atlanta Blade show and I was sold. I ordered it from Blade HQ and got a free knife as well. I sharpened my Shaman and it is now FREAK'N sharp. Do'n't get me wrong The Shaman was pretty sharp to begin with but over over some time the edge needed some touch up. I am very pleased with the PROFESSIONAL PRECISION ADJUST, It is awesome.Yes I would do it again.

Got my order in 8 minutes after they went on sale; I'm not disappointed one bit jumping on it right away. I have the first version as well, this updated version is better in every single way; they took the design element that made the first one so great and then fixed many of the issues that I and many others had like the sag-prone clamp, finicky magnet joint, and issues with blades more towards small and large ends of the length range. It feels much more solid and is quality manufacturing. The packaging is great so all the parts are pristine even after a few hundred miles of shipping. While this is certainly a higher price point, I feel it's worth every bit of the increased price with the quality manufacturing, upgraded design, increased precision, and the included extra grits.

Honestly, a fantastic product. I was lucky enough to get one of the first production runs and I've sharpened quite a few pocket knives. The edges are consistently shaving sharp. A minor learning curve here when sharpening near the tips of your blades as a little too much pressure on the forward edge can lead to a bit of tip rounding but you can fix it with this tool. Otherwise for what you get at the price point, there's nothing out there that will match what you'll get in return. I'm excited to see what additional improvements they release (lower/higher grits etc...) to make a top notch product even better. If you're on the fence about one of these, don't be, it's a great investment that'll give you incredible results.

Had the first model precision adjust and liked that very much. I bought the new Precision Adjust because it had larger stones and strop, and could handle larger kitchen knives better. The only down side is the fact there is no carry/storage box for this model. The original Precision Adjust has a nice storage/carry case. We need the same for the Precision Adjust!! Please have your engineers review and come up with a nice ( and relatively inexpensive!) storage/carry case!!!
