This sharpen is great, with one limitation that cant be avoided. As you sharpen longer blades, the angle of the grind is going to change the further out from center you get. When I sharpened my Esse Junglas I set the angle at 25 degrees at center. Because of the inherent trigonometry of the system, I ended up with 19 at the tip and 21 at the handle. This will be the same issue any sharpener using a similar design like a Lansky, or even the wicked edge. Overall, I was able to put hair splitting edges on several knives relatively quickly. I look forward to seeing more grits its like a 120 or 80 grit for re-profiling and a 1200g for better mirror polish as well as a case. You wont go wrong with this system

I have every WS sharpening system. I modified my Precision Adjust and fixed all the issues, but the Pro is much better. Quick, consistent results on most blade types. The diamond stones are very good quality. My one issue is that the retailers are selling the PA Pro at $50 less.

This sharpener is mostly good overall. Pretty easy to get set up and start sharpening OTB; and I stress the word Box as it doesnt come with a storage container other than the cardboard box it comes in. Its a nice cardboard box; ; but not great for long term storage of the the plates, angle finder, strop, etc. Could feel a bit less like plastic.It should come with some basic maintenance instructions as well a guide for various blade angles based on desired use.It does do a nice job of sharpening blades and is pretty straightforward to use.I realize this is nit picking but at this price point its all the little things that make a difference

Received mine today and have already worked on several of my blades I use. I have the old system and really liked it, worked very good and the concept was great. My only real issue was the construction and cheapness of the materials. I knew when this one came out I would have to have it for it fixed all my issues and added several cool new features I had not even thought about. Don't think I could be any happier with this system, well, if it were cheaper I would be but I feel is it worth the money for sure!

Amazing upgrade from the elite system amd something we've all wanted for a long time! I've owned most systems in the market at one time or another and this is by far the best bang for your buck to get the professional repeatable edges ypur looking for! As far as im aware there are only 2 other brands that can compete with the PA PRO and they both cost well over $500+ one even gets into the $1000's. But why waste your time or money on those when this system does everything there's do at a fraction of the cost!! Worksharp has yet again taken an idea looked at the market then figured out how to improve upon it at a lower cost! Love everything there doing at worksharp and they definitely have a life long customer here. When you buy worksharp you buy integrity!

I dont normally post reviews unless a product blows me away. This Pro PA does just that! Thank you to the genius that put this system together. I was lucky to get one in the first release and I put it to the test today with 7 different knives ranging from kitchen to tactical fixed blades. Every knife came out razor sharp that you could easily shave with them. All of the stones are everything you need to get incredibly sharp knives. No need to spend anything more for a sharpening system as this is worth every penny.

Having used the standard Precision Adjust for over a year, let me just say WOW! I got in on the 1st production run release (#338/500) and yes the extras were cool, but guys let's be real, this thing is worth every penny. I work for my money, and I can without doubt say it's the best $300 I've spent in a long time. This thing fixed issues I didn't even know I had. Also, for those wondering how big a difference having an angle cube (inclinomiter) is.....it was eye opening the difference in what "20" was versus what 20 actually is. Speak of, this thing is stout. Big, beefy, and has weight. That said there is NO flex what so ever. Solid as a rock. Look, don't think about it for 2 more days. Just buy it. Your old lady maybe mad, but it's better to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Outstanding. I have an old Global knife that I'd written off and it came back as good as new with minimal effort.So much so, when I washed it the next day after cooking, it slashed the washing sponge in two and I had barely touched it! AMAZING product and excellent value.
