Great quick sharpener for my kitchen knives. I use the Pivot Plus Knife Sharpener to keep my heavy use blades sharp between my bi-annual time on the Ken Onion powered sharpener. Especially useful after the in laws come and miss use my knives. I toss it in my tackle box to help keep my fillet knife sharp while fishing when not using it in the kitchen. The diamond rod works very well as well.

I use the electric sharpener to get my knives razor sharp and put this sharpener in my gear bag and use it to keep my knives super sharp in between cleaning salmon . Easy to use sharpener that is good for maintaining an edge. My kitchen knives were already fairly sharp, but a couple of passes helped to make them just that much better. The rod helped bring some life back to an old bread knife.

I am very happy with this pocket sized sharpener. The ease of use in sharpening garden shears is jice. The sharpener is well thought out for ease of use and putting a nice edge on your tool you are sharpening. The diamond rod sharpens serrations easily. The carbides sharpen fast, but remove a lot of metal and leave a jagged edge. I never was sure what activations "pivot response" did. The diamond rod was handy for serrated edges.

Great compact sharpener for quick jobs. Used it for touch up after skinning and quartering a bear, as well as touch up while deboning and finish cutting . If youve ever done a bear youll know even going the meat dulls knives fast. Lets not forget fillet knives, works great on them. Too small for kitchen knives in my opinion. This is a buy to throw in your pack or tackle box, plus tool box at work.

Very easy to use and puts a nice edge. Not the type of edge you can shave with but a good working edge. It works fast too. Run it through the carbide until it pulls through smooth and then through the ceramic a few times to polish.

I love this little sharpener! I was able to but a very fine edge on several pocket knives that belong to my teenage son (you can just imagine what shape they were in). The carbide side quickly restored them to what would be a perfectly usable edge, but the ceramic side really got them sharp. I like the pivot feature because I don't have to be as careful to keep the blade correctly positioned for even sharpening. This one will live in my backpack for use camping and on scout outings. Another great Worksharp tool.

When I received this sharpener I thought; another one of those, but I have to say it does an outstanding job. I especially like the rod sharpener on this little unit. I not only sharpen our serrated blades (which I've never done very well at prior to this unit) but I used it to sharpen the wife's rose clippers and our lopper blades. Made very easy work of it. This unit is replacing the one I carry in the field with me. Lite weight and very easy to use.

I love the idea of being able to keep a good working edge on you knife with hunting season coming in. This will do it all. I'm not a fan of serrated blades, bad idea if you ask me, but having an option to sharpen a serrated edge is something you don't see on very many sharpeners. Great Job Worksharp!
