I like the Alert System. I do have two questions about it. Can I put a new lanyard on the Medical Alert defice? The one that came on it is so long it hangs out the bottom of my ****. Because its so long it clangs & bangs on stuff. Actually, a bracelet would be best for me.
I would also like to know how far away from the base I can go & it still work? I would like to wear it when I go to Tulsa for my doctor's appointments. It is about a 25 to 30 minute drive.

Our problem with the system was that its poor response to a power outage. Twice we had first responders enter our bedroom past midnight and scare us awake because the power had gone out and we don't have good cell service in the valley.

The device is o.k. but the lanyard is not. There needs to be one that has a magnetic closer so it doesn’t have to go on and off over the head.
It should be water proof so I can shower with it on since that is a likely place for a fall. When you get a lanyard with a magnetic closer, send me one.
