I purchased the alert for my dad , since my mom is away in a long term care center for now. About 3 years we had purchased one for my mother in-law whom used it until she entered an assisted living last year. We were very satisfied years ago so it was a simple choice when we needed an alert for my dad.
The GPS addition on dads unit has proven already to be a great tool in helping him and us to rest easier .

Besides feeling safer, I have to commend the people who answer the calls, and are patient and friendly when it goes off unexpectedly. They are always patient and friendly.
:I also must commend the office staff who are also patient with me when I was sure I'd lost my device, and then found it after they'd already mailed me another unit. I felt like an idiot, but they were very understanding and let me know that it was okay. (Who knew that I would forget to put it back on after my nap and not go downstairs again to my cozy little waterbed/nap bed and find it until I went for a nap another day-and had hunted for it over two days where I'd been picking up limbs and tossing it on 'the limb pile! Thanks for all y'alls' patience and friendliness--both the phone answerers and the office staff.

Love it. The only issue I have is that for the last 6 months or so, the Locate feature is not working from my phone app. I am working with support, but haven't been able to resolve this. Otherwise, all is great.

It's a nice unit. However yesterday I went to my local Y and left the unit in my locker while I was doing aquatic exercise. Apparently the unit set off an alarm and an ambulance was summoned. I called Customer Service and
the woman I spoke to said I had a fall detector on it. She cancelled that feature and it seems to be working fine now.
Hopefully I won't be charged for the ambulance call.

It works very well and the people stay in the line if you need them to stay on the line to see if you can get up yourself. The only problem is if it’s a false alarm and you try to turn it off as you are instructed, that is, to press the button twice and hold for seven seconds. Usually when I tried to do that I am not allowed to is somebody is coming on to see if I need help. So that is something of a weak point that could be fixed.

which means it services me almost every location I am ever in (i.e., I don't frequent
places which don't have a cell phone tower.....that would be rare for me). I recently
