It really works!! We had two calls go out for mom. The first was a "detected" fall...Paramedics dispatched and transported to the ER. I was notified immediately and made it to her place before they left with her. Number 2 time, SHE pressed the button for help! Again I was notified immediately and was able again to get there before the left. The lock box is a true gem...and worked like a charm.
I would highly recomend Medical Care Alert.

I haven't had this system for very long but I really like it! It has the microphone in the pendant and that is just what I wanted as I did not like to carry a separate monitor around.
My daughter-in-law works in a medical supply store and told a customer about my system and he was going to check on it.

After looking through all the different choices, I decided that the 'Home and Away' (I think that's the proper name - I'm 73 and can't remember for sure) system would be the one for me, because I'd be using it outdoors, for tobogganing, walking our back roads for exercise, and gardening. I also travel. So that's what I'd ordered.
Your customer service people have been top-notch as well. I've had several calls to them, and each time my question has been answered in a warm, friendly, competent way.
All in all, I'm VERY, VERY HAPPY and satisfied with my Medical Care Alert system and very pleased with all the friendly, competent responders from each area.
