Trigger came in the mail a few hours ago... Installed in my 308MX... 3.6 pound trigger pull and CRISP! Already shot it and I love the feel of the wider trigger and the clean break.Kudos to Adam, Miss Kimberly and the RPP team!

Made loading much easer, easy to install. Let's you polish, debur and smooth some of the internal parts. Making the action much slicker.

Great loading gates!

This is a great product at a great price ! We converted two early Marlin 1895 rifles to "Guide Gun" configuration. I had a few questions on fine tuning during installation, and the people at Ranger Point were very helpful, knowledgeable and kind when I spoke with them by phone. All in all a first class company to do business with !

Overall, my experience was very positive. Are used YouTube videos to assist me in disassembling and assembling my 336 stainless steel Marlin with the new lightweight aluminum loading gate. It was my first attempt beyond field stripping my rifle and it went well.

RPP medium loop lever. Nothing could be simpler and easier!

I have big hands and the original lever on my Marlin 1894 wouldn’t allow me to use but two fingers to reload. The RPP larger loop lets me use three and feels more comfortable.

I have been shooting my Marlins for over 25 years and have always had to "break-in" the factory Marlin loading gate. They do come very stiff and will eventually get easier to push as time goes on. I just came across RPP on Instagram and had to buy one of their Loading Gates to see and feel what all the reviews were saying.

Well I received the RPP Loading Gate and installed it in 10 minutes (I have been working on Marlins for a long time). I was impressed with the quality of the part. It matched the original shape exactly! I liked that it didn't have sharp edges and felt nice and smooth. To say that my thumb/nail won't get pinched is a blessing!!!! I loaded a Marlin 336W and all I can say is WOW! I even took out an older JM Marlin 336A and put it in that rifle and it was a night and day difference in loading! All these years of busting a thumb are over! The Ease of loading these rifles just went from "ouch" to Alright!!!!

I would highly recommend this product for any of your Marlins! It will make the range more enjoyable!

Both RP loops needed a bit of extra love to make work, but I’m very happy.

The installation took me 2 plus hours as this was my first venture beyond field stripping my 336SS and I took a few more steps (filing sharp edges of the receiver, deep cleaning and working with overly tight clearances). I used a detailed YouTube on assembly and disassembly of the 336 to assist me and it helped (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFGYg3IxqgY). This video makes a few suggestions beyond what Navajo gives in his video. Also, while I had the inside of the receiver accessible, I gently filed the edges of the loading gate opening. That really helped minimize pinching/cutting as well. As mentioned, I did a thorough cleaning and lubrication with Ballistol as well.

I found the trigger assembly VERY tightly seated on my "Remlin" and I had to use a small hammer to gently tap it back in. This took some time. The edges of the receiver where the trigger assembly goes in were razor sharp and that warranted a bit of light filing.

Why did I give it a 4 STAR? While loading was easier as advertised, unloading could not be done with one hand as Navajo demonstrated in the instructional video. It seems the bottom forward tip of the new loading gate blocks unloading of either 30-30 snap caps or live rounds. To get around this, a second hand was required to lift the cartridge corner up and that popped it out. A one-handed unload would have earned a 5 STAR rating. Overall, it was a positive morning experience on a snowy Spring day here in Madison, WI.
