Previously ordered one of these for my 1894 in 45 LC. It worked so well I decided to order one for my 1894C. When it arrived it didn't fit my 1894C, so I tried it on my Long Colt...wouldn't fit it either. Contacted RPP and they sent me a replacement. The new one fit perfectly, just like the original. I want to thank RPP for their great customer service. They will receive more orders from me in the future!

I also personalized it more by thinning and recheckering the forearm, also well epoxy embedded a pewter deer head on the bottom of the forearm. I was looking to take a classic American rifle and put a new spin on it (I know it’s not for everyone). But Ranger Point Precision was able to aid in that venture. The load gate was a huge improvement over the original. The new load gate added Functionality and looks and the quick release lever screw adds some style and ease when disassembling for cleaning. Fit to finish the products that I’ve purchased so far from Ranger Point Precision has been top quality and fast shipping is always a plus. There are still a few more items I still need to purchase from Ranger Point Precision but that’s all in do time. So far I have been very happy with Ranger Point Precision! I just wanted to give you guys a review of the lever quick take down screw in blued steel. I have had it on my Marlin 336 in 30-30 for a little while now and it functions excellent and gives a nice little personal touch. Quality is definitely there on this little screw and fit was perfect. I just wish there was an option to put an American flag or a Gadsden flag on the head of the screw but I wont complain. I like the quality of this screw so much I went ahead and ordered the flyweight load gate from you guys and if the quality on that is like the screw I know Ill be happy with the product. Thank you for the quality products.

I replaced the spring in under five minutes. It worked like a charm. The magazine release is definitely lighter than the stock spring. All magazines drop nicely and without any issues.

Mind the gap! Press the lever firmly to one side and then use feeler gauges to determine the total gap. Put spacers evenly as possible on both sides to take up the gap. You may need more than two packs!

Perhaps you won’t want to advertise this part of it, but neither of these were exactly “drop in”. Both required a fair bit of work. Having said that, once in they work great and offer a big improvement when wearing winter gloves.

Straight drop in replacement. I have the newer 1894c in 357 (a rem-mar) It has been a while since they made them in 357. Took 8 months just to get it. Just the lever replacement smoothed up the action on it. Went to try it out after replacing the lever. Loved it, even my grandfather who is 87 yrs old had a fun time. I recommend this lever if you don't want the large over size one :)
