Actually had gone to the shop in person to exchange an item. I was met by the owners wife super friendly and kind. She helped me exchange the rail and sold me on the easy loading gate and medium loop lever.

Bought 2, both worked well and appear to be of good quality. Looks to be a good and tough finish on the part. I had to order spring sets from Steyr and cut the plastic rods to get the springs off. There are no aftermarket options, and Glock springs Don't fit. I know have the original un touched recoil assembly, and a new steel assembly. Also adds little weight to the gun. I am very pleased.

I bought the loading gate for my 1895 guide gun and love it. SO much easier to load and unload the gun. I can unload the gun without having to rack the action which I love. I was concerned when the video showed how to install one on a 336 and not an 1895 but they are the same. I just watched the video and paused it... did the next step, paused it again and it walked me right through putting in the gate... I would recommend to anyone thinking about putting one in.

Perfect fitment and construction quality looks superb. Have not had an opportunity to test-fire yet, but anticipate will be just fine. Exceptional customer service and a thanks to Kimberly for allowing a modification to the order.

Marlin missed out on making something like this, totally changes the look of the rifle. So many accessories to attach.

I had to dig out the washer from the inside of the Marlin plastic follower to provide support to the end of the magazine spring. Not sure if it actually cleans.

The loop appears well made and works smoothly. I have not gotten to the range yet, but the movement is solid. Replacing the loop in a 94 is complicated. An instructional video would helpful.

These are the best option I found for my Marlin lever guns. They are a substantial upgrade to the factory round hammer extensions. The fit is perfect, they are much lighter than other extensions and the diamond cut gives the best possible grip for your thumb. Plus, they have a nice unique look to them.

Just finished installing my second RPP extractor in another Marlin 1894. Works just as great as the first rifle I installed one in last spring. Worth the price. I highly recommend it.

Fit well, very sturdy. And true. Had to minor adjustments when sighting in scope.

Last April, I wrote about how much I liked the new RPP Extractor I installed in my Marlin 1894CS .357 rifle. Last week, I installed another one in a recently acquired Marlin 1894CB .357 rifle. Again it was a great improvement in both extraction and the overall cycling of the rifle. I highly recommend you get one. They are well worth the price.

I had never had a marlin lever Action apart before but it was simple and the loading gate installation was easy following the video.
Much easier on the fingers now and cartridges slide right in the magazine tube. Should be on every marlin Lever Action Rifle.

I have not used this in the field as of yet. It has showen great improvements since I have install this on my marlin 1894p 44 magnum.

Received the RPP medium loop lever in short order. I attempted to drive the plunger pin and spring out of my existing lever and quickly aborted that attempt. Being in no rush I ordered the replacement plunger, spring and pin from RPP. Upon installation and much to my chagrin, I discovered that the new lever and newly installed plunger tee-totally locked up my recent (2018) model 1895G. I mean that lever could not be pulled open once I closed it. Fortunately I had previously bought one of RPP's knurled take-down screws. Fearing I would break the wood from the tang in my attempt to open the lever, I did the only remaining move I had left... remove the take-down screw. Once that was accomplished, I was able to remove the lever. Several more futile attempts proved that nothing changed and each time the rifle lever was closed it was as if it were welded to the gun stock. The only recourse being to withdraw the take-down screw. A VM to RPP stated my situation and the next day I received a call back. Several questions and the suggestion to take the plunger spring down a coil and a half were provided. One coil and a half was clipped off. No dice...an additional half coil was needed to make the lever operate. It opened a little too easy so I measured the length and stretched the spring slightly. That was the ticket. It works like it should. I have some snap caps and they seem to function pretty smoothly through the action and are eliminated in Marlin fashion out of the receiver opening. I am so glad that I put some effort into getting the thing to work. I am also happy to report that RPP makes quality products. The quick take-down screw and medium loop lever are the cats meow. I would have to suggest that RPP should install the plunger, spring and pin into the lever if both are purchased as a unit. Mine was not. I am not giving 5 stars until I get a chance to shoot at the range and ensure it operates without flaw. The little bit of aggravation I endured is worth the time and effort it took to rectify the problem. Like most guys, sending stuff back would have have been much more obnoxious and ego deflating. Thanks RPP... I have many more Marlins awaiting modifications.
