This sight was mounted on my Marlin Guide Gun for use in heavy thickets. Sight was very well made and mounted to my 1895 perfectly. Allows a quick sight picture to be made. It will be one of the additions to my rifle that will always be there and do what it's suppose to do every time. I don't want to have to think about my sights, just use them when needed quickly. this is perfect for that. It is the right choice for a working rifle.

Bought the Medium loop lever, CloverLeaf Adjustable Aperture Peep Sights w/yellow fiber optics, Aluminum Magazine Follower, Quick Takedown Screw and barrel dovetail filler. Everything was easy to install. I really like the larger loop lever for my somewhat large paws. I just need to get to the range and sight in with the new clover leaf peep.

I picked up three of the Ranger Point Precision (RPP) fly-weight loading gates a couple of months ago. Promised easier load, less finger pinch, and RPP delivered on the promise. Verified the feed with dummy loads. Recommended. Don't forget the blue loctite. I thread the screw most of the way in then squeeze the blue loctite so it stays mostly at the top of screw. For those that use red loctite, shame on you!!!

With the help of Ranger Point’s products for the Marlin 1894, and a good red-dot electronic sight, the result is a carbine that is fat and accurate, and can outshoot any handgun or carbine I own. And it’s perfectly legal in NYC, no matter what lies the police and “expediters” tell you.
With an 18” barrel, and recoil like a .22lr, at 50’ I can outshoot even my “tuned” AR-15. For home defense, especially in a city, that’s the range that’s most important. The baseline Marlin 1894 is great, but the RPP stuff makes it fantastic!

The factory Marlin loading gate is extremely stiff and I found that quick loading could deform soft lead hollow points. The Ranger Point aluminum gate solves the problem. Great product and a great fix. Wild West Guns in Las Vegas installed it in in less than 15 minutes. Excellent customer service with Marlin and Wild West Guns.

I own several Henrys, my 45-70 All Weather was/is quite good from Henry. I swapped to a larger loop (in black) just because. Now I noticed just a bit of side to side movement, still acceptable by any means. I believe this was caused do to the fact it was black and not hard chrome plated, so a couple of "thousands" undersize would be expected. Ordered the shim kit, recieved it in 3 days (wow) BINGO . perfect!

I ordered my RPP peep on Tuesday the 17th and received it on Friday the 20th. Had that rascal installed within 10 minutes. Since I already had the buckhorn sight zeroed, I adjusted the RPP to place the RPP, buckhorn, and bead front in alignment before I removed the buckhorn. I must say that Adam came up with an out of the box solution for windage adjustment that will work quite well. I took it to the range today (Sunday the 22nd). Quickly zeroed at 25 yards then took it to the 100 yard mark using my load of 14.8 grains of A2400 under the Hornady 158 FP/XTP (1690 FPS). Really like the means of adjustment on the sights. Easy to determine the inches of shift per turn to the Allen head screws. I managed a 3" group at 100 which, with my eyes, pleases me. I used the .095 aperture for zeroing. Without the aperture insert, the ghost ring effect was a little too faint for me, far sightedness causes this I think. I think I'll order the .125 aperture and give it a whirl. In short, I'm well pleased with this sight, the speed of delivery, design, and function.

I don't really consider the factory loading gate a problem, but, my Lady did... I installed these on my 336W, 308MX and 1895G and now she loves to shoot these rifles... Her only complaint before was pinching her finger in the loading gate...

I have a 1894 44 mag Marlin, and the stock lever is both small for me, and a knuckle buster, especially on my middle finger. This loop is far more comfortable and manages to engage all my fingers equally and on a smoother edge. This puppy seems expensive but makes for a gun that's far more enjoyable for me to operate, and it looks pretty nice too. Suggest you get the shims; I needed one.

Rifle Dovetail Sight Filler Blank (black nitride coated)
I purchased the dovetail filler to replace the rear sight on my Marlin 1893 (circa 1896) and it worked great. It was a bit undersized depth not width) but I suspect as it needs to fit multiple rifles and ages of rifle that is just the way it needs to be made. That was not a problemas I tightened it up with a couple dings to the base with a punch. I like that approach better then Loctite red as that stuff is really hard to remove, requiring heat and I wish to be able to change back to the original rear sight from time to time. So it fit the bill and looks good, Thanks, Matt
