When I decided to upgrade my Marlin 1895GBL I knew where to go! I was not a fan of the factory big loops, too big IMHO. RPP's medium loop lever is a far better fit so I put one on. It was then I also realized how much smoother the action feels when using the lever shims. I tried those on another Marlin and got the same result, smoother cycling. I ordered a few more and found the same result again. I will be shimming all my levers from now on. So back to the GBL. Next was what to do for a back up sight. I already had a Leupold scope and QD rings so I decided on RPP's rail sight set. This is a perfect solution for a back up sight. The rear sight is integrated into the rail and the matching front sight works awesome with it. Pop the scope off if needed and your ready to go. At the same time I also used one of RPP's dovetail slot fillers in place of the factory rear sight. I'm delighted how it all turned out. The rifle is now exactly how I wanted it!

When RRP announced a new "claw" extractor design for the 1894 I was intrigued as I have a "few" 1894's. I was lucky enough to be selected to test out a prototype and was amazed at how much smoother the two test guns I used were when compared to the stock extractor. When they got them into production I ordered enough to changeover all my 1894's. Nothing but smooth sailing now!

Sent my Marlin 444S to RPP for a full length mag tube conversion and couldn't be happier! Also installed RPP dovetail slot fillers in the old sight dovetail and old tube stud doevtail. They blend in perfectly. Rifle balances great with a full load in the tube. I like this so much I am doing my 45-70 and 375 as well!

I ordered the Ranger Point Precision Medium loop lever in Stainless steel finish for a contrasting look. And the SS star lever takedown screw as well. Both are quality products. Hesitant to spend the money on a new lever, however that all changed after installation! Money well spent!!! Definitely recommend purchasing the spacers/shims as one was needed on each side of the lever....however there's zero side to side play now.

Anyone who owns a Marlin model 1894 and has extractor problems should consider purchasing the Ranger Point M/94 extractor claw. Installation is easy and the "Claw" will not disappoint. After installing the M/94 in my Marlin, I have had zero jamming problems. I strongly recommend this finely engineered product.

The 4" Ranger Point Precision 357 Sig conversion barrel was a flawless work of art right out of the package. The feel, fit and finish made it well worth the wait. And the barrel was a problem free drop in. The additional extractor spring speaks to the professionalism and craftsmanship that is RPP. Truly a welcome added touch that says they care about the product they provide, that customer satisfaction is a top priority. After 10 minutes of marveling at the newly converted Steyr S40. I grabbed up a few other guns, ammo and what .357 Sig ammo I had left and headed up to the local indoor range. With only 12 rounds of Underwood 125gr 357 Sig ammo on hand, I broke in the new RPP barrel. I was not disappointed! Feed & extraction went off without a hitch. The smile was worth every single penny! I have been looking for a larger loop for my 1894 Marlin since I got it years ago, finally found this, very high quality, although I did need the two shims. Truly a five minute drop in..., IF you have a 1/16" steel punch to deal with the little roll pin. A block with a hole for the pin to drop out is nice too. Very satisfied with my purchase
