Marlin 1894 Lever Loop Straight Grip Stock | Medium Loop (black)

Installed a Ranger Point Precision Big Loop Lever onto my Marlin 336C. The hardest part was drifting out the cross pin to remove the plunger and spring from my OEM lever to re-install in the new RPP one. Otherwise, the fitment was perfect and the old girl is cycling perfectly. Love the feel of the new lever, especially with gloves on.

Marlin SS lever. Had to file off 0.44” from upper arm to get it to fit in bolt. A little trouble getting the pin out for lock plunger on the original factory lever as Ididn’t realize one end of the pin is splined to hold it in place but figured it out by trying to punch from both sides.

My Marlin 336W had always given me some issues. The rifle required tightening and repair after every time it was fired. Sent it in to RPP to overhaul the entire rifle, cut it down, thread it, extend length of pull, and was convinced to convert to .30-30AI.
The rifle when I got it back has been amazing, accuracy is great now, rifle is tight and sturdy, smooth to operate, just everything about it is awesome. They really took care of my rifle and gave me confidence back in it.

Rifle Dovetail Sight Filler Blank (black nitride coated)

Bought a dovetail filler for my Mossberg 464 SPX. I wanted to try and keep things as smooth as possible.
If you're worried about the abomination of a stock that comes on the SPX, don't worry, I ditched it for a Boyd's stock.

These lever shims did a nice job tightening up my 1985gbl lever that had gotten a bit loose. They fit great, can't be seen, and have options for thickness to get that lever just right. Handy to have for us lever action folks.

I saw a picture of an RPP Custom Classic Marlin 336 and had to have one. Such beauty! They sat down with me and we carefully went over options and specs for my custom gun. Their expertise and insights were helpful in determining my final spec and they delivered this beauty as promised. I enjoyed doing business with RPP and in due course will likely order one of their innovative Marlin 1894 Short Stoke rifles modified to use semi-auto pistol ammo.

I liked everything about the experience and results. I appreciate the craftsmanship and design. It loses one star for value. Its pricey for what it is and I would have given it 5-stars with an all-up, all-in cost to me of $99 or less. It's my opinion and I was asked to share it. I bought my unit at full price with no regrets.
