I recently finished installing Second Skin Damplifier Pro , Mega Zorbe and Overkill foam in my 1987 Suburban, and I am absolutely blown away by the results.
Great product that adheres to metal with no issues. Also the added bonus of no tar smell like other brands.

I created a new product, not sure what to use it for. Maybe you guys can think something up. It’s Your Damplifier Pro with several coats of Herculiner truck bed liner. The softer backing of the Damplifer Pro allows the Herculiner to absorb remarkable impacts without cracking. I’m thinking about using it in my wheel wells.

We can't have storm windows and can not replace windows in the historic district we live in--these were the perfect alternative. They greatly reduced the noise from the busy street and have also saved us tons of money on our heating and cooling bills. Easy to install and hard to notice that they are even there once installed!

I’d yell about how good it is, but you wouldn’t hear me! Half way through a car audio install, the back half is treated with damplifer pro and luxury liner pro, 100% coverage. Mega zorbe has been added to any void, crevice & pocket I could find. Absolutely wild difference between factory sound treatment and second skin. Can’t wait to get started on the front half!

Bought this to replace the old worn out oem heat shield on my car hood. Makes a world of difference on looks and keeping the engine compartment a little cooler in the Texas heat. Very easy to work with and good quality. Very happy all around with the purchase. Great job!!

Rather than replace my complete skylight due to hail damage. I was able to replace the diffuser only and the Second skin seal has worked perfectly! No leaks whatsoever.

Used this in a 70 Buick Riviera on top of 4.5m NVX CLD. I was hoping this would cut down outside noise and maybe a little heat coming up from the floor/trans tunnel. It accomplished both of those things. Installing is a huge pain, knew that going into it though. I tried to get as close to 100% coverage as possible and used the HH-66 to glue the seams. If you want it to lay down nice on trans tunnels or rear seat contours you’re going to have to spend some time cutting, trimming foam and glueing the seems.

This product worked better than expected to reduce loud vents in a living room that’s right next to the furnace. I used this on both a supply and return vent and it dropped the noise of each by about 8-10 decibels. The sound when the furnace is on high is no longer annoying when watching tv, before I would have to turn up the tv if the furnace or ac kicked in. I tried using double sided tape by spray adhesive worked best.

Honestly the only thing I could tell that made this b stock was some color inconsistency?? Other than that it seems exactly the same as the full price stuff. Very happy

Our AC air handler is in a small closet in the middle of our home, surrounded by bedrooms. The noise (around 70db) was awful. We replaced the air handler but also took the opportunity to do all we could to block sound and absorb noise coming out of that space. I worked with Erick at Second Skin on ideas and (1) we enlarged the return air plenum and built baffles in it lined with ecoverb; (2) lined ductwork coming off the machine with ecoverb using the spray adhesive also sold by Second Skin; (3) added fiberglass insulation in the walls and ceiling surrounding the enclosure and laid up two layers of 5/8 heavy weight gypsum drywall glued together with Green Glue and sealed all the gaps with acoustic sealant; (4) used Second Skin's fire-rated mass loaded vinyl product to prevent the plenum from acting as a resonator for the air handler and to create a gasket between air handler and plenum; (5) added MLV on top of the air handler; and (6) lined the walls of the enclosure with left over ecoverb, using pins instead of adhesive so it’s not a mess if we ever need to remove. Now there’s no basically no noise coming out of the enclosure or through the ductwork. I didn’t even have to line the registers. The AC installers were skeptical but ended up super impressed once we kicked on the machine. We are very happy with how it all turned out. (Also, their spray adhesive is just so much cleaner and easier to use than the 3M products—highly recommended).

These RSIC-1 backer clips were just the solution I was looking for. I'm mounting a 100" tv on a wall which has isolation clips, hat channel and 2 layers of 5/8" drywall. Needed a solution to be able to mount a heavy TV on this wall without compromising the isolation characteristics of the system. Combined 4 HD RSIC-1 backer clips with steel channel to be able to mount the tv bracket.
