Item arrived timely, intact, and exactly as described. It was easy to install in my HVAC return duct, replacing the original insulation that was compromised by water damage. Bonus in that it is soundproofed in a way I didn't think was possible. Would highly recommend to anyone!

We have been using Second Skin’s products in our builds exclusively for a while now….there is nothing that comes anywhere close to their product line. Seems like every time we need something for a specific need…they have it. Amazing company and products.

Had a great experience with the Second Skin team – they were responsive, and helped carefully guide me through the customization process.

I installed Damplifier and Megazorb in my Winnebago Ekko Front Cap area. The dampilfier was very easy to to install and I could tell it would make a big difference in that space. Next was a layer of Megazorb Pro over the doamplifier. I’m glad I went with the self adhesive back as it made the install so easy.
Shipping was prompt, I would recommend Second Skin as a source for your needs.,

Order got here fast. Order was correct. Halfway through the install. Thinsulate over sound deadened. Very easy to work with. Very affordable.

We recently got granite countertops and the fabrication company only had partial soundproofing on their sinks. They had never heard of additional soundproofing. My plumbing supply guy suggested second skin. The fabricator declined to install it for me so I did it myself, not a problem and it really made a difference, I mean, it was silent after that.

During the current phase of my audio project, which includes integrating BLAM LFR 52 and Helix components, I utilized 3M Thinsulate from Second Skin to manage the acoustic energy within the vehicle.

The application behind the dashboard midrange speakers was particularly transformative. The internal cavities of a dash are notorious for creating standing waves and reflections that compromise the precision of the front stage. Using this Thinsulate as a backing material allowed me to effectively dampen those back waves, resulting in a noticeably more transparent and detailed output from the BLAM speakers. The material is impressively pliable, allowing it to be tucked into tight apertures without compromising its integrity or acoustic effectiveness.

I integrated the Thinsulate into the trunk lid to act as a secondary absorber. I already applied foundational sound deadening to the metal surfaces, the addition of this acoustic layer provides a necessary barrier against airborne noise.

Second Skin offers a premium iteration of this 3M product that is both lightweight and highly effective. It has proven to be an essential component of my installation as I move toward the final DSP tuning and completion of the system.

Thrilled with my purchase. I used UltraTouch for my studio build and couldn’t be happier. Far superior to Rockwool and safer, too!

I ordered Damplifier Pro and the Thermazorbe to line the hard top of my Gladiator along with another company’s fabric headliner. I wanted it to function well, but also look like a factory option. I ordered enough Damplifier to cover 100% but only ended up doing about 80% on the thinner sections of the fiberglass tops. The wind/exterior noise from above my head is significantly reduced. I covered as much of the top as I could with the Thermazorbe because that was my main goal. Reducing temps from sun hitting an only slightly insulated black fiberglass top. The reduction of heat transfer coming into the cab is outstanding!! Bonus effects are the AC doesn’t take as long to cool the cabin and the temperature is able to be maintained at a lower setting on the dial now. Highly recommend Second Skin!!!!! If using this with an aftermarket headliner, note that it adds about 1/2” of material so the cut of whatever you cover it with will be slightly skewed. Nothing that a carpet cutter and some planning can’t take care of.

These foam sound insulation panels were effective in attenuating high frequencies.

Installed this in my sprinter doors with CLD and thinsulate. Made a huge difference! Strongly recommended for those Sprinter van owners looking to make a more quiet ride.

I installed this under my factory sprinter front floor mats and side stepwells. Wow, what a noticeable difference, reducing road and tire noise. Huge improvement. This material was reasonably priced and so easy to work with.

A perfection solution for finishing our insulation around our basement walls and between the upper floor joists. This product was a life-saver around those tight spaces, fuse boxes, and multiple wires where fiberglass would have been a poor choice when future maintenance of wiring would be performed. Cold air was completely stopped from coming through this area. We are very pleased with the results.

We needed fabric-wrapped panels to quiet the echoes in our worship hall. We received a free acoustical consultation just giving them dimensions, surface materials, and photos of out hall. They sent out free swatches to feel and see. Order was shipped well and arrived on time. Thanks for helping us sound so much better.

Late last year we installed a 26 kW generator at our home which has had several multi-day outages during big Pacific Northwest storms. It works like a champ but the only site for it was in a side yard which is quite close to neighbors we love, in a spot where noise can reverberate between our houses.

To cut the weekly exercise noise, and the roar of it running under load for hours or days, we built an L-shaped cedar privacy fence around the generator and heat pump, and covered the noisy side with these well-made Quiet Quilt outdoor soundproof blankets. Second Skin has been great to work with throughout the process, from their helpful website to Eric getting the sizing and order details right, to shipping product with obvious care. The generator now sounds like a distant muffled lawnmower instead of a motorcycle at high throttle, after a ~12 dB drop on the long side from the fence and blankets. Neighbor gives it two thumbs up.

We could've made it even quieter but decided to keep the fence end open to vent generator exhaust away from the house, and kept a small gap on the short side of the fence for fresh airflow to the heat pump and generator. Pardon the landscaping mess in the photos, that gets sorted next month.

Excellent windows

Works for me really well. I tried 5 different to block my cat’s meow at night. Finally this product works. It really saved my sleep.

Anyone who has watched Graveyard Carz knows that my quality expectations are extremely high. We've been installing Second Skin sound control in our restorations for over half a decade, and we've never had one complaint. As a result, I reached out to them and asked for custom-made sound control panels for my new home theater and outdoor living area. Once again, Second Skin not only met my expectations, but they far exceeded them. Best in the business, period! ~Mark Worman Graveyard Carz.

This product provides high-quality, effective soundproofing, performing perfectly as intended.

When it comes to butyl sound dampening, damplifier pro is the best!
