I have a Subaru WRX and I used this product along the floors, trunk, and door panels. It was very easy to cut with normal scissors and apply with the included roller. The drone from my exhaust is now almost gone and I hear an improvement in the sound quality of my speakers. Can’t wait to install try their Luxury Liner Pro to make my car even more isolated and feel more like a luxury car.

Damplifier Pro™ Sound Deadening Mat
I installed the Damplifier Pro™ Sound Deadening Mat in my Chevy project and the difference was noticeable immediately. The material is thick, high quality, and easy to work with compared to some cheaper sound deadening products I’ve used before. It sticks extremely well and molds into the curves and corners without fighting you the whole time.
Road noise, vibration, and rattles were cut down a ton, especially in the doors and floor pans. The truck feels more solid and the audio system sounds cleaner with less vibration. I also liked that there wasn’t a strong chemical smell during installation.
Definitely worth the money if you want a more premium feel inside your ride. I’ll be using this again on future builds.

Luxury Liner™ Sheet - Mass Loaded Vinyl (1 lb / 2 lb)
I decided to write a review in case anyone else is trying to do this. We are adding a bathroom upstairs and the new chase for the drain runs through the master closet. We wanted to insulate the chase with rock wool but it was loud and I wanted something extra. I wrapped the 3” pipe splitting a 24” x 54” 1lb sheet, it covers floor to ceiling. (Need at least 12” to wrap) The contact cement was just ok so I also taped and wire wrapped it to the pipe. It doesn’t soundproof it but instead of hearing the gurgling and whooshing you now just hear a water flow. With the rockwool I think the result will be acceptable. It’s hard to completely soundproof these pipes but this is pretty good.

Mercedes Sprinter Van Insulation Packages
I assumed it it was cut for a 144 sprinter van but FYI it's not. I got three boxes of the 3m insulation and each box has a full sheet in it. Still have to do all the cutting. Not sure how this "kit" is very helpful as i could have got square footage easy enough and just ordered what i needed I assume of less.

3M™ Thinsulate™ Acoustic Insulation SM400L
I installed the 3m thinsilate in addition to a butyle rubber and a layer of mass loaded vinyl in my Chevy equinox and with the combination of all three of these the vehicle feels like a rolls Royce now. There is easily less than half of the original road noise and the vehicle stays cold longer after parking which is nice in this crazy Florida heat.

Was looking for solutions to soundproof a bedroom wall for noise coming in from next door apartment and found Second Skin company online.
Great customer service, Eric helped me out figure out exactly what I needed for my specific project, and was quick to answer all of my questions and offer solutions.
RSIC clips were very easy to install on existing metal studs, and after adding Rockwool insulation, double layer of 5/8” drywall and using soundproofing compound between drywall panels and soundproofing sealant around the perimeter, I think it makes a difference.
Great product, I would buy again.
