Blocks for easy to put up, they look aesthetically, pleasing, and most importantly they help solve our sound problem by decreasing bleed through sound by almost 90%. Very happy.

I used P329 Permanent Spray Adhesive to install 3M Thinsulate Acoustic Insulation inside my door, and it worked extremely well. The adhesive sprayed evenly, provided a strong permanent bond, and made positioning the insulation easy. I especially like that the bond is pressure-activated—once the material was in place, applying firm pressure helped secure it properly. It was a great choice for this project, and I would definitely use it again.

5/5 Stars — An Unexpected Home Theater Upgrade!

I set out on this project looking to tame the sound reflections in my basement home theater and make movie nights a bit more immersive without driving everyone crazy upstairs. Before this, I honestly didn't even know denim-based insulation was a thing, but after diving in, I am a complete convert and would use it again in a heartbeat.

The Good:
Incredible Acoustics & Performance: The sound absorption is top-tier (boasting an impressive NRC of 1.15), which drastically tightened up the audio in the room and made dialogue and heavy bass much cleaner.

No Fiberglass Itch: A huge plus during installation was skipping the misery of traditional fiberglass. You don't have to worry about tiny glass shards getting everywhere—though fair warning, you will end up with a layer of blue cotton dust settling around the workspace instead!

An Industrial Vibe That Works: Instead of hiding everything behind drywall or complex fabric tracks, I painted the ceiling joists a complementary dark, matte tone to match the denim batts. Using steel insulation support wires between the joists did a brilliant job of securing the batts overhead, giving the room a custom, cohesive "dark sky" theater aesthetic that looks intentional and clean.

The Verdict:
If you are on the fence about using denim insulation for an exposed ceiling project, go for it. It's clean to handle relative to traditional insulation, performs exceptionally well acoustically, and adds a unique architectural look when paired with the right color palette. Highly recommended!

I put it on my Tesla model S Plaid and yeap. I can feel the difference when I'm playing music with a deep bass. Recommend 10/10

My house is right near a busy highway and 8 months into living in the home, I had yet to adjust to the traffic noise. My path to finding a solution begin with having a number of new window sales consultants come to my house and quote me on new windows, but my windows were already double pane and not very old, and I was told triple-pane would only be a marginal improvement. Continuing to Google other solutions led me to Second Skin's inserts and I jumped to place an order. I worked with Eric and measured my windows and had the back-end support to feel confident I did it correctly. Delivery was simple and Eric was available at every point of the order process. My handyman didn't have any issue installing the window inserts with Second Skin's detailed installation videos. I've had them for several weeks now and I am so pleased with the result. Car rumbles deaden to near nothing, and sirens, motorcycles and muscle car noise is significantly reduced and had made my highway facing bedroom much more peaceful. I would do this project again and again, thank you to the team!

It’s a bit of work to do but vary pleased with the product the adhesive is top notch will buy again for the roof and possibly the floor Overall great company and plenty of materials to complete the job

These b stock (at least the ones I got) sheets I got would be great to cut up for smaller areas but not to use as whole sheets unless you use a straight to square them up. I was expecting creases and possible tears that would need taped over but these hacked up down the side. One looks like the machine cut 3/4's down the length of it, ripped it off, then moved over a half inch, and started cutting again. Like I said, they would be great for cutting up for smaller areas, but I think the price is a bit high for their condition and the fact you can't use them as a whole sheet because you would have large gaps in the seam.

Was easy-to-use installed quickly and filled the space before the aluminum interior skin went in. I like the product so far.

The CelluZorbe works very well for reducing refrigerator noise. It does not eliminate the sound completely, but it makes the fridge noticeably quieter. I was very happy with the results; it took a couple of days to notice the full difference, but the improvement was significant. Set aside enough time for this project. This is not something to rush. Before gluing anything in place, measure carefully, plan how the pieces will fit together, and cut everything first. Using a level also helped make the installation easier and more accurate. Use a very sharp tool to cut the material, especially if you are working with the 2-inch thickness. Try not to move the material around too much, because it can give off quite a bit of dust. The glue works well, but it has a noticeable smell if you get very close to it. Because I measured and cut everything ahead of time, I had some material left over and was able to use it elsewhere. Great product!

Awesome product

I am using this product to line the floor and hull of my Beneteau sailboat. It is easy to work with, adheres to the wood well with epoxy and one cut line with a razor is all it takes to shape. This is working nicely to knock down the sound of the water against the boat that scares my young daughter.

We’ve really enjoyed using the Spectrum Second Skin products. The Second Skin lays down nicely and reflects a nice satin texture when dry. It’s been applied to the underside of the cab and bed along with the cab floor, back wall, and inside fire wall. I used this material combined with the MLV to decouple while placing on the floor of my Tundra. Strong and durable. Easy to work with. Would absolutely recommend!!

I installed a supercup exhaust and the drone was killing me, So I tried this product on the firewall to help keep the sound out of the cabin. It didn't remove it but it lowered just enough to be livable. Im happy with the result.

This luxury liner pro with MLV did just the trick. Installed it on my rear wheel wells on my sprinter van, reduced the hum, road noise and simply made the cabin noise better.

More suited for under machinery than for cross training type of work.. no bounce
