Mega Block ™ - Hydrophobic Foam Heat Shield
I used this heat shield on my 2025 Kawasaki Ridge to help keep heat and sound from entering the enclosed cabin. The factory has a thin plastic panel that separates the cabin from the rear engine and I applied this to that exterior panel. You must use care when handling this foam as it is VERY sticky. I also advise talking to Second Skin before mounting as they can give you some good advice on making this work on areas that are not completely flat. Make sure that you seal all open edges/joints with foil tape. The aluminum shield seems to be very durable and thick and I could tell right away the difference it made.

3M™ Thinsulate™ Acoustic Insulation SM600L
I used this 3M thinsulate on my 2025 Kawasaki Ridge to help with noise and heat from the rear mounted engine. The factory only has a thin plastic panel separating the enclosed cabin and the engine so I installed butyl first and then put this insulation on top. This insulation was very easy to cut and is very light weight. I could tell the first time I started the engine that it was much quieter inside. Very good pricing for what this product does.

This thickness of 3M Thinsulate worked perfectly for my 2025 Kawasaki Ridge Crew in the headliner. My goal was to add some more insulation to my ceiling in order to keep the black roof from getting hot and to also help with sound transmission from the exterior. It was easy to cut to size and I liked that it is also hydrophobic. Great pricing and size options as well!

Hood Insulation Package
I live in mountains of New Mexico. It is a wonderful place to live except for the scorching sun and pack rats. The packrats crawl into the engine compartments and destroy the fiber hood insulation to make nests.Once the insulation is destroyed, the brutal sun damages the paint on the hood. It is a constant battle. Second Skin has solved my problem. Only did it insulate against heat, it deprived the packrat of the building materials.Installing the Second Skin was intimidating at first. My car is a 2016 GMC Denali. It sit high and the hood is large.I removed what was left of the old liner and used it as a template. I then numbered all the primary rubber panels and installed them,one at a time, front to back.The only difficulty I encountered was access. I had to spread a sheet across the engine, climb in and lay on my back. It was like a poor man's Michelangelo working on the Chistine Chapel.I worked slowly and carefully. It took 2 hours for the base rubber and 2 hours for the insulation. I am delighted.The Second Skin is exactly what my carneeded.

I'm 90% done soundproofing my van with their luxury liner pro and 1lb vinyl, and very excited to epxerience the results when its done. i'm on disability after some serious concussions due to sound sensitviity, and this van will be my home away from home. My recently purchased GE refrigerator has a very loud compressor system. Reading the advice and reviews on the Second Skin site I decided to purchase one of their kits. I wanted to get the 2 inch thick kit based on their recommendation but didn't have enough space so I went for the 1 inch. It arrived quickly and was very easy to install. It made a big difference in reducing the amount of compressor noise. The remaining noise is the lower frequencies so the 2 inch kit would have been better, I wish I had room for it. I am very happy with the advice from Second Skin and the results!
