Just the right product I was looking already laid some down and it already reduced some of the Road n rattling noise. I will be getting more. 👍

I used Damplifier Pro, Overkill Pro and Spectrum Sludge inside my Subaru Impreza's doors. That car's low engine sent vibrations right into the doors, and Second Skin's products locked that down completely. And Damplifier around my speakers made them more accurate sounding.

When installing Luxury Liner Pro on the floor of our F350, I used a hole saw (2” in my case, but adjust to fit your seat mounting) on a drill to open the holes where the seats mounted instead of cutting out around the seat mounting. My seats have a round embossment on the bottom of them which made it easy to use a hole saw that was a little larger than the seat emboss to drill through the Luxury Liner Pro after it was installed. I just located the bolt hole in the floor with an awl and then used that to position the hole saw. I tried not to cut the Damplifier Pro underneath with the hole saw since I had previously trimmed around the bolt hole. I was able to torque up the seat mounting bolts and rechecked the next day and they were still at torque.

My order was shipped without the screws needed to install, and with a handful of additional unnecessary L-brackets. After a call to SecondSkin, they promised to send the hardware ASAP and tole me to discard the L-brackets. The screws delayed my install and I had to cut all of them in half to fit in the trash and wrap them up to protect the sharp edges. I wasn't thrilled with the waste of materials or the additional cutting on my end, but it is what it is.
As for the window insert itself, the only issue I had is the size. Though I measured about ten times (not exaggerating), the insert ended up being a very, very tight fit. It required a lot of convincing (read: pounding) to fit in, and ended with a few chips off the window frame.
All of that to say that the delivery and installation were not as expected. However, those are all one-time issues. Moving past all of that, the frame completely disappears into the window, which is great. I even managed to install it so that a set of powered blinds lives between the exterior window and the insert to maximize both the use of space and the sound dampening. I haven't tested sound transmission with/without the insert since I don't want to relive the struggle of forcing the insert back into the window frame more than I have to (and frankly, I haven't figured out how I'll even be able to get it out without chipping anything else), but it sure sounds quiet now that it's in. I dread having to remove the insert every six months or so to charge the wireless blinds, but at least I know it will fit if I bang it hard enough to get it in place.
All in all, now that it's installed, I'm glad that I have it. That said, I likely wouldn't do it all over again since the high cost of the frame was only half of what I had to pay: the rest was the taxes/fees/shipping cost. It's just too much for one window.

For my jeep wrangler, I opted to use damplifier pro on basically all surfaces I could, with spectrum sprayed on top. I am very satisfied with the results so far! I started out with I believe (2) cases of 20 sheets of damplifier pro 12x20 sheets and 3 gallons of spectrum. I got most of the way done ordered another 16 sheets and 2 more gallons of spectrum. And I am very close to finished, but I think I may end up needing another gallon or 2 as I plan to do the hardtop panels and also the front fenders since they rattle like a tin can. I put spectrum everywhere I could get it! Spent a lot of time on the tailgate. Maybe a little overkill but I did the inside areas with a harbor freight hand pump where I couldn’t get a brush or spray gun. Then I would take the blowgun from the air compressor and blow it around inside. I ended up with a tailgate that’s significantly heavier than before. But it’s solid and won’t rattle now. I’m pleased with the results. I did have one small issue with the spectrum along the corners of the cargo area. They were very small but it almost turned flaky like a big air void underneath it. Not sure what happened but I just chipped the small areas off and re sprayed. Seem to be fine now. All in all I went through a lot of spectrum probably more than the average person would, because wranglers are kind of tin cans. I did 5 coats of spectrum and finishing with 3 coats of bully liner bed liner top coating. I went with bully liner because I got a deal on it. But I ended up really liking the results. I used it on my steel bumpers as well. It seemed to play well with the spectrum. Just make sure to wait the 7 days like instructions say before bedliner. Actually I was doing it in stages and you could hardly tell the difference where the spectrum stopped and bully liner was sprayed. All in all very happy with the results. I wish it was a little cheaper but if you want the best it’s not cheap. Hoping for some more b stock or Black Friday sale so I can get a little more to finish out this project!

The sound dampening spray kit was very user friendly. I sprayed the interior floor, firewall, roof and trunk with the two gallon kit on my 79 TA. Very good coverage and sprayed out nicely at 75 PSI. Simple water cleanup makes it even easier to deal with. I sprayed two full coats and have some leftover. The car is still stripped for rebuilding, so it will be awhile before I can test the sound quality. Very pleased with the results so far.

We just bought a 33" farmhouse sink for our new kitchen. When we had it installed it was so noisy! I couldn't stand it. I searched the internet for something that would quite the noise. "Second Skin" solved the problem instantly. I wasn't sure about ordering the product (Sink Soundproofing Kit) but it was amazing.
If you have a noisy sink this is the product for you.

I used the double sided tape to hold my Luxury Liner Pro to the rear wall of my 2001 F350 and in strategic places on the floor. I also used it to attach foam over the 2 vents in the rear wall.

This is my first time using Second Skin, and I am happy with my purchase. It feels high-quality and sticks well. I really like the black matte finish—it looks sharp—even though you'll never see it again once you put your panels, upholstery, etc., back together. Anyway, I applied this to my front doors, and this product cut down on vibrations while playing music and driving over rough roads that create a lot of vibration. Overall, my doors feel more solid in general. I recommend this product. I may end up purchasing some Over Kill at some point as well for that extra bit of help with decoupling.

Did 4 doors of my Tundra and the back wall. Very easy to work with. Nice quality all around.

I purchased and installed Damplifier Pro on the floor and back wall of my 2001 F350 extended cab, followed by Luxury Liner Pro. I had recently changed the exhaust to a 4" Banks and that increased the exhaust sound level. We haul a truck camper and tow a jeep which contributes to the exhaust sound level. We reduced the sound level by about 3 dB according to my before and after measurements with my iPhone downloaded app. I will work with Second Skin to determine what the next steps are to reduce the exhaust sound levels further.
Their support in this process has been great. They answered my phone calls and provided suggestions to resolve the questions I had during the install process.

Really appreciate you discounting a bulk pack like this. The quality of the B-stock is great. Some minor wrinkles or sheets that aren’t perfectly squared is the worst of it. Very happy. Don’t wait… this stuff sells fast for a reason. Best products on the market at a discount.

The pads I bought covered my new 33 x 22" sink really well and really deadened the sounds through the sink.

Very pleased with the results from adding this to my doors. I went through 3 iterations and can confirm that I can hear a significant difference after adding 1" Mega Zorbe. I had used 1/2" Mega Zorbe at first, and CLD by itself before that. Now, with a single layer of CLD plus 1" of Mega Zorbe on both the inner and outer door skins I have the deadest doors I've ever heard! (Note that VW uses two-piece door where the inner and outer halves bolt together, so there is already a sealed but not deadened enclosure, at least on the 2009 Touareg.)

Nice quality product that I was trying to use to quiet the inside of my sports car. I used it in the trunk area to quiet the exhaust note and tire hum. It didn’t work the way I hoped it would.
