Adhesion and workability are top notch. The glue is almost too perfect, you really have to line up the piece before any part of it touches, if just a small bit touches it will stick and if you have to re-align then well the foam is staying with that glue in the place it touched. It cuts well and I suggest cutting several pieces rather than molding one large piece around complex corners. It will mold around an outside corner though it will get wrinkles. Inside corners, especially if they are tight are really tricky since the edges of the inside corner will touch and adhere first and preventing the deepest part of the corner from getting and foam touching it. Time will tell if it hold up, but so far so good.

N/A have not finished the project

Every time I get a new vehicle, this is one of the first places I go to when I start a new audio system. Products have never let me down.

Damplifier Pro is thicker than the 80 mil Kilmat that I had used in my previous vehicles. It is thick and strong resulting in a reduction of background noise from the cargo area plus it helps absorb vibrations when I drive over rough surfaces.

easy to apply, sticky as heck, and it works!

Amazing! Worked great for Superduty!

Sticky if applied at just the right time and DON'T MOVE IT. Otherwise, an exercise in frustration.

I know a fair amount about automotive sound deadening. I’m also somewhat of a perfectionist, especially when it comes to my rare War-Time Civilian Chevy 1/2 Tin, Vicky. IMO, the roof is not only the most important area of a Pickup to to treat, but also the trickiest. Heat and gravity conspire to make it that way. My research finds Damplifier Pro to have the highest temperature rating in its class. That’s the main reason I chose it specifically for the roof application. It installed as represented by Second Skin; quite nicely. I did, however, put extra effort into cleaning the roof surface. I used window cleaner and a Random Orbit buffer with a fairly coarse Scotch Bright 1/4” thick pad. Also, very thoroughly wiped/rinsed off all the resulting loosened material. Application of the Damplofier Pro was pretty straight forward. On the rounded corners, with scissors, I made a 45* cut for overlap. I’m 76, so only had the strength to roll one panel. Next warm day, I’ll spread the rest of the rolling out over the day. I have not decided how many layers of 1/4” thick open-cell foam to apply over the Damplifier Pro, but probably as many as I can without interfering with the headliner. I’ll be using high temp, HD Permatex Auto Headliner Spray Adhesive to make sure the whole works hangs together. With all the sound deadening I’ve done, my ’45 Chevy is not going to be period correct noisy inside, that’s for sure!

Very easy to work with.

good material

Can't believe how much difference this has made. The difference truly is night and day. Even though I've used tons of the Second Skin products, they continue to amaze me with how well they perform. It's definitely worth the cost.

Worked well

Couldn't be happier with the product. It does what they say it should do.

I found this product when searching for something that would dampen the hollow tinny noise of 2 coffee tables I recently purchased. After talking with customer service, I decided to try the Deamplifier Pro panels. They are amazing and I have been telling everyone about them. I even sent a link to your website to our builder's design team so they can recommend to future clients. Total fan!

Very good product, sturdy.

A lot of people see the price and immediately switch to another product from another company. Do not make that mistake! If it’s cheap it’s pointless. If you want the best. You have to pay for the best. A speaker box is more important than the subwoofers that go into the box. Same applies here. The extra money is worth it.

Bought a pack of the 10 sq ft of damplifier to do the roof of my Nissan hardbody. Easy to work with, goes on smooth and kills noise like a boss. Definitely would recommend, and is my go to for noise reduction. Will be doing the rest of the truck soon. Definitely worth the money.

Have not installed yet as of 8/24/24

Product was fantastic and easy to install.

I had a great experience with Second Skin Audio! My home application was a little unique but I was very happy with the results. My order was processed and received very fast and the interaction with customer service was outstanding! I worked with Eric and he did an awesome job of communicating with me every step of the way. I highly recommend doing business with Second Skin will definitely call upon them again for any future projects.
