Spectrum™ Spray On Deadener
I applied Spectrum on the interior of a Land Cruiser BJ40. I initially purchased four gallons, and ended up buying two more.
Second Skin Team has been of great support for the project and recommendation on the product and application (I have used the online chat various times with immediate response!).
The Land Cruiser is red and I did not like the back color. I ended up waiting two weeks and applied tentacle liner to cover and protect the Spectrum.
The gun from Second Skin was perfect for the job and being water based it is easy to clean and very low odor when applying.
Also, due to the thickness of the material, the overspray is minimal and easily controllable, making it much easier and faster to mask than a paint job (or liner application).
I am still putting everything together to see if the difference can be felt. I will updated this soon.

Dual Lock™ Reclosable Fastener
Looking at the product picture, a buyer would conclude that the purchase is a normal two-sided fastener strip, with two sides. In fact, it is only HALF. You have to buy a top strip and a completely separate overpriced bottom. They try to.gey around it by some nonsense about ooooh it has super strong mushrooms. Avoid.

Yes, Dual Lock is sold un-mated. I'm seeing you purchased (2) 1 foot strips, which is 1 foot of fastened material. Sorry the product picture was confusing. We've sent you a return label if you'd like to return your strips for a refund.

CelluZorbe™ Cellulose Acoustic Panels
I have a mix of absorption materials in my room so I can't really measure the effects of just this product but I'm sure it's helping. It's odorless which is nice. It needs to be covered as it's a bit delicate; I wrapped mine in some fleece fabric. It's very soft/flexible so you will need to provide support for it or spray-mount it onto a surface.

It was great talking to you. As we discussed, the 3# density (stock) option and the 6/8/13# custom density options at the same thickness all have the same NRC rating (sound absorption). CelluZorbe™ Cellulose Acoustic Panels
I I purchased a panel of CelloZorbe Cellulose Acoustic. I installed it on the wall on the north side of my house under my kitchen sink. Last time the weather got down to 17° outside one of my pipes froze under my kitchen sink. Now when I open the doors to access something under the sink, I can tell how much warmer it is under there and have not had the pipe freeze again. I used my adhesive spray and it worked great holding the cellulose. I know it is not some big job like all other people do but it sure works for me.

Very high quality CLD. Sticks like crazy, I had to remove a couple of small strips about 30 days after installation and it was a chore to get it to let go.
Applied to outer door skin, inner door skin, and door panels, plus rear wall of a 2024 GMC 2500 truck.
Combined with MegaZorbe on top of this it makes the whole truck much quieter and makes my sound system sound crazy good.
Easily cut with heavy duty scissors, I like the flat black color over the shiny competitors, and it works really well. I will buy this again for my next project without a doubt.

Speaker Tweakers - Anechoic Pad Set
These went in as part of a new speaker upgrade so I don't have a before/after comparison - but the bass I can get from my 6.5's in the doors of my truck is wild, and these are part of the equation so I assume they work well.

Mega Zorbe™ - Hydrophobic Melamine Foam
This was my first foray into higher end sound deadening - beyond just slapping CLD onto door skins.
I was impressed with this product. It's light as air with a stupidly sticky adhesive on it. Cut easily with scissors - I was even able to just slide open scissors through it like a knife, like you do with wrapping paper.
Learned to be very careful when applying it after cutting to size and peeling the backing off - if it touches something it is stuck. You cannot peel it off and re-stick it. I found most of it easiest to apply by only peeling back the first 2-3 inches of the backing, sticking one end, and then peeling the rest off from underneath.
Made a noticeable difference in road noise making it through my door panels. Very happy with its performance.
I would have liked to have double stacked it in some parts, but the only thing it doesn't seem to stick to is itself. I realized later that was mentioned in the install instructions - I should have read them better. If you want to stack it thicker, make sure and get a spray adhesive.
I would buy this again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic Frame™ Soundproof Window Inserts
Installed 4 fantastic frames on large 82x34 windows facing a road to buffer the noise. Eric helped walk me through the measurement process and mounting selections. Not only did the frames come out great they significantly reduced the noise inside by nearly 8-10 DB. They worked so well we are now doing 4 additional windows in the kitchen to really tighten up the noise from the road. High quality, good communication and if you measure correctly work exactly as described: we used the magnet in jamb mounting with standard attachment for the initial 4 windows but will be switching to the flat metal mount for the next 4.

Started with the installation of this product for the first time. First area to cover were the inside of a customers doors. The surface was cleaned extremely well. The day after applying the product to the door, it became separated and lost all its adhesiveness. Never had this issue with other brands we’ve used in the past.
