It's easy to use and super thick, I used a brush and roller, worked out perfectly and wasn't messy because it's so thick. It appeared to be very similar, practically looked the same, as the factory coating that Toyota had applied on some areas of my 4Runner floor. I added more obviously on top of it in those spots. It's so much cleaner looking too, and I'm not tracking in butyl like CLD, which I felt was just a sticky mess, even worse removing it. I bought another gallon of Spectrum so I can do other parts of the vehicle, I will leave CLD in some spots as I do have some Damplifier Pro which I know is a good product, and instructions say I can paint over the CLD so I'll do that. Even better!

This is my fourth restoration (used Second Skin on all), this one I will keep. It’s a 1966 mustang coupe. I sealed the trunk area from the cabin and covered that wall and the floor with second skin. I want this car to be cool and quiet! I know from previous builds this car will be both. Live Second skin!!

I used the Mega Block Reinforced Heat Shield to replace the worn insulation in my 2005 Generac 15kW generator's Exhaust Enclosure. The original product used is no longer available from Generac, or from any other supplier I could find.
The Mega Block looks exactly like the original product and I am lucky to have found it! I highly recommend Mega Block.

Sink Soundproofing Kit
Although our new stainless steel sink did have soundproofing, it was pretty noisy reverberation with running water and worse when the disposal unit was running. I bought the 4’ kit. The sheets were easy to cut and stick in the underside of the sink, the only part accessible. I used 3 overlapping layers. Overall it took me about a hour. The sink is now silent!

Damplifier Pro™ Sound Deadening Mat
I've used second skin years ago on my 1968 Cutlass off frame restoration. I used it on the inside of the roof, the inside of the doors, package tray, floor and over top of the rear inner wheel wells in the trunk. The car is very well insulated from outside noise and it sounds nice inside as well as when you shut the doors lol. I am working on a 1967 Chevy pick up C10 now and I put 2 skins on the inside of each door as I was removing and cleaning up all the door components which made this the opportune time to do it. I will be using second skin on the floor as well when I get to that part of the restore. Thanks for a great quality product. Attached pics of my 68 Cutlass build.

Installation was a fun process. Needed a pair of scissors to cut the Heat Wave Pro but everything else provided in the package was sufficient to get the tasks done. The materials were more than enough to cover the hood. I'll use what is left with my next order for the doors and firewall.
Cutting the Damplifier Pro took the most time for the first layer since I didn't have an outline to work with. I mainly guestimated dimensions. Tapped the top of the hood after applying the Damplifier Pro and noticed a huge difference in how sturdy it seemed.
Noise level decreased immensely even though I did not do any before/after noise level measurement with a device.
Thanks for the product. Looking forward to working on doors and floor next.
