First off, let me tell you about this product. Not only is it super easy to apply, but it also takes care of any rattle that you have in the location on your vehicle. I had a bad rattle coming from my trunk and the license plate on my car. I put some of this on the back of the license plate and on the trunk and Boom the rattle is completely gone. Love this stuff! Gonna buy more this summer to do the roof of my car because it rattles like crazy especially when going through a car wash.

I spent thousands of dollars sound deadening the interior and reduced the decibels from 87-81 decibels on a ‘92 Hummer. After reading a suggestion on Second Skin’s website to start on the exterior and apply interior sound deadening last, I applied Second Skin Spectrum just to the front wheel wells to test it. It dropped the decibels from 81-79!!! I can’t wait to get the rear wheel wells done!

Great product, i used this in-between my spoiler and rear hatch and it isolated both panels from rattling. Overall impressed with the feel and quality of the ccf. I also used some inbetween the roof and map light cluster above the shifter ti keep that from rattling against the metal. I'll be buying more of this stuff for sure.

I found the product to be much easier to work with than dynamat. It molds to the metal very well especially with a little heat applied and isn't too goopy or sticky to handle. To follow their advice about wearing gloves the foil layer is very thick and gets extremely sharp when cut.

Thank you for your great review, we appreciate it. We always suggest using 2-3 bottles for any project over 5 gallons so you can rotate through them as they get low. The bottle collapsing issue is usually from the small pinhole on top of the gun being clogged (stick a small needle into the hole) or it can be because of too much pressure.

Factory Five Sound & Heat Packages
Your heat and sound insulation materials are very good. Very sticky adhesive on the sound insulation which is also easy to cut and form. The heat insulation seems good, but it is somewhat difficult to cut because of the tough fibers embedded in the core, but probably unavoidable. The “kit” for sportscast which I ordered was just sufficient for my needs, although I may need some more product. Yes, would recommend.
