Awesome products; Damplifier Pro, LuxuryLiner Pro, and Heatwave Pro

Found a b-stock package that fit the budget. Purchased and installed . Dramatically improving the mid bass response of the door.. while a fraction of the weight and thinkness of the previously installed stinger, Second skin provided a much needed enhancement !!!

The 4 aluminum doors on my RZR 900 used to sound like cooking pans being banged together while driving down the trail. After installing the Damplifier insulation they are now WAY quieter and the machine doesn't sound like it is going to fall apart at any moment. The product looks great and was easy to install. It's really a great product. As you can see, it's all nicely patch up and done by the car specialists. It really reduce the daily road noise a lot. Very highly recommended and good product overall. Will definitely support and introduce secondskin products to others. I am very happy with it.

Not my first time using your product, and certainly not my last!

I have used the Luxury Liner Pro on a couple of builds now and love it. I can't think of another product out there that would even come close to what this stuff does for a car. Even my Lexus, which was already very quiet on the road, benefited greatly from it's use.

I put damplifier pro on the floor boards of my project car and I am very impressed. I rolled it on with a golf ball to get it to contour well and it turned out great. I use the same golf ball to demonstrate the big difference that damplifier pro makes.

Easy to apply, and the roller was a life saver!

I have a great experience using the product. The backing paper came off easy and was very sticky when applied to the metal of the door. The sound is much fuller now also.

Really think that this was the more appropriate way to go...all the nooks and crannies and with a bit of insulating properties...found that I had to go with 6 coats for the 3mm...was a little hesitant at first so my spray was light...way easier to spray than the knuckle buster adhesive-back butyl sheets...my opinion
Very little over-spray as well...Was fun using the product...i recommend it for a van...

I first seen this product on a buddies build, he gave me his sample pack to check out and I went with the Heat Wave Pro for my Citroen firewall. I wanted mainly heat insulation, that is why I chose Heat Wave Pro, I was surprised at how well it quieted down the dash area from engine noise too. Great product, will re-order as soon as I get another project to do.

Have used Second Skin on both my Scion xb and Ford Mustang. Works awesome! Damp pro I on used my mustang doors. Ken is a very nice guy that will answer any questions you may have.

HeadSpace is a massive moving art project. A Mutant Vehicle that a crew of 10 core members built from the ground up on a 1985 Chevrolet RV frame. We take this vehicle to the Burning Man even in Black Rock City, Nevada every year where she runs 18 hours per day pumping close to 20,000 watts of professional audio music.

There are (8) 18" sub woofers and a number of Pro Audio tower speaker that blast music on the top level of the car as well as on to the crowd in front of the car where we often throw impromptu parties for groups of 10 -1,000 people.

There were two challenges that we faced that were easily solved by Second Skin.
First, was the obnoxious vibrations and rattles from the sheet metal of HeadSpace. For this we used Damplifier Pro. It didn't take very much material to knock the noise levels down to inaudible levels which meant we saved money. For an art team like us, we will save money anywhere we can.

Next was the heat issue in the engine compartment. If you know anything about gas driven motor homes, you know that the engine is sitting right next to the driver and WOW does it get hot. Especially in a rig like HeadSpace, where only a thin layer of steel separates the motor and the driver.

To combat the heat we used a combination of Second Skin Mega Block and Thermal Block. One layer of each on each side of the firewall. Now, instead of the captains boots heating up to point of melting (no joke) the entire area is cool and comfortable. Even after we drop the Rig around Playa for 10 hours, the metal was barely warm to the touch.

Short on time and funds before our NW finals event I went with a bulk pack of damplifier pro b stock and was very impressed. Installation was a breeze and their qc must be very strict as each sheet was 100% usable with only a minor crease on each.

Ordered some second skin to start my sound deadening project so far I am very pleased with the results (got both my doors and my trunk with the 18 sheets I got) I will definitely be coming back here when it comes time to finish the rest

Needed a solution to prevent distortion in in a metal security enclosure for a Jeep Wrangler.

Exactly what it says it is, if you're looking at it you probably know what it's used for. It works, my use was sealing dampening a speaker adapter plate and speaker. I needed smaller diameter and I used it around 40F so it was a bit hard to work with but there are a few tricks. I cut a small piece to work with and deformed it for with my hands, it warmed up and made it pliable. At this point it was pretty easy to work with and make it stick to various panels. It's important to clean whatever you are trying to apply this to, if you are working in the colder temps I'd say under 75-80F a hair dryer or heat gun can be helpful.

Used to deaden the horrible sounding vibrations on a plastic rear deck with lots of nooks and cranies. Worked perfectly, adhesive worked perfectly, could cut easily. Once it cooked in the sun for a couple of hours it got even better!! It does have a slit scent that is the nature of the chemicals that make up the item. Nothing that won't dissipate, I am very sensitive to smells/fragrance and this was a low odor product once I got around to install it. I had aired it out for several days prior to install.

I would recommend building a minimum of two layers for problem areas. I was able to cover my rear deck (buick park ave) about 80%+ covered with 2 layers and have one and one half sheet still left of the 10square foot pack. The black coating on the aluminum layer does not come off easily, I was not able to scratch it off during the install and flatting procedure. Very happy with results and the ability to cut with scissors to quickly install since there was leading edges around all 4 sides to be able to peal off the sheets without ruining part of the panel you are holding trying to pick it off.

Product was installed 7-22-17 so if something changes, which I doubt from reviews this stuff just won't release like other sound attenuation material adhesives that fall off in the heat, I will update. The fact it worked better after cooking in the sun speaks that it is pry really stuck on now and I don't expect any failures. The seller was very quick and thorough in their responses. Obviously passionate about their work and product.
At this point I would totally recommend this product over more expensive competitors.
