I was dissatisfied with my order, so I gave the store a call. I spoke to a customer service rep, Donna, who was pleasant but stated that she could not help me. She transferred me to the manager, who was a female. The manager immediately seemed like I was bothering her with my call. Donna had stated, when I spoke to her, that they she had soken to the manager about my issue before the call since I had emailed them prior to this. The manager must have already made her mind up and decided she didn't need to be nice to me. After I spoke with her for a while, I asked to speak with the owner because whe was being so rude. (During the call, she put me on hold to speak to the owner, or so she said, so the owner must have been present.) I told her that I didn't wish to speak to her anymore and I insisted on speaking to the owner or at least someone else who might be a little nicer. She, again rudely, said that she was the only one I was allowed to talk to and that she was hired for this position so she would not let me speak to the owner or anyone else. The call ended with me letting the woman know that if I could not speak to the owner, or to someone higher than her, then I would be disputing the charge with my credit card company. I was told to go ahead. I was left no choice, so I did. This is the first time I have ever had to dispute a charge in the 20+ years I have had credit cards; I do not take this lightly. There is a right way and a wrong way to say "no" to a customer and every word out of her mouth was the wrong way. I felt like I was talking to a teenager that wanted to exercise their power. I was completely disrespected in the way that I was spoken to and I will not be giving swing design my business anymore.I will also be advising friends in the same manner.
