IT seamed to take awhile for the counter top to arrive but when it did it was packaged extremely well. when opened it revealed a counter that was professionally created and a thing of beauty. After a light sanding and five coats of water poly I had a wonderful natural wood countertop. Thank you all who put time and effort into creating this.

I had a special project cabinet that I needed to make and I wanted a nice walnut butcher block top for the cabinet. I found Hardwood Lumber Company with their many counter tops with various types of wood. I ordered the unfinished walnut butcher block and I finished it with the food grade oil. The butcher block is fabulous especially after I added the oil finish. The butcher block makes my cabinet look professional. Thank you!

I don’t think the color match was great. I’m pretty sure they just used gray stain and the floor we wanted them to match to is brownish gray. We received the sample stain at the same time as the entire order, I think we would have changed our order had we received the sample ahead of time. The stairs are solid though, and a huge improvement to what was there previously. Just wish the color match was better. I feel like for the extra fee I just got a normal stain, not a match.

Butcher block tops are beautiful and very pleased with them. The natural wood look was exactly what we wanted. The sink faucet hole was a little too small, so had to use hole saw for larger diameter opening, but that’s probably a template issue.

The board I bought is beautiful. However, I bought it as a gift and it literally came wrapped in a make shift piece of cardboard fashioned into a box. This was purchased as a gift for someone. I would have expected something better for it to be delivered in and at least a pamphlet or some information about the board or the company. It just seems to me that such a nice piece of work should be accompanied by something that tells the recipient of its quality. I chose your company because it's local. Some instructions on how to care for it at least would be greatly appreciated.
