I order these as a wood burning canvas for my customers and I love these boards, but the consistency in the quality has been off lately. The last several I have purchased have had ugly black grain patterns covering parts of the board. Also, the packaging has been horrible lately as well. They have little to no cushion material in the box so they are easily damaged in the shipping. The last couple of orders have come with at least one board having damaged sides and corners from getting kicked around. The shipping is fast, yes, but I'm ok with waiting an extra 10 minutes if it means the boards are packaged correctly.

I bought two walnut boards. The ordering process was painless, shipping was prompt and I was notified as the various stages of the process were finished (i.e. charged, shipped, tracking #, etc).
The boards arrived in a damaged box as the plastic air pillow was not sufficient to keep them from moving about. Nevertheless they arrived in perfect condition. Boards look good and are a pleasure to use on either side - no handles, feet, grooves or other BS to get in your way. However the quality of the sanding was low with many rough spots when you run your hand along the boards surface (maybe this is as intended or a property of the wood). I am undecided as to whether I want to re-sand it myself or just let time and use do its work.
That being said, price-wise it is still a very good deal. I wasn't able to find boards in a similar price range without downgrading to oak or bamboo. Minor complaints aside, I would buy again.
