Rustic Walnut Wide Plank (Face Grain) Countertop
I ordered an unfinished rustic walnut countertop, and it was made with precisely the quality of wood and workmanship and attention to detail that I hoped for. Shipment was fast and arrived in perfect condition. Really couldn't ask for a better product at the price! Already thinking about other woodwork projects I could work on in the future.

Ash Live Edge Slab #258
I got an idea of getting a live edge slab from a restaurant my wife and I went to. I looked at a lot of different locations and slabs and choose this one. I am definitely not disappointed. The quality is perfect. I had the company apply acrylic polyurethane to the slab and it is perfect. I am building a bar in the backyard and decided that the slab will be the focal point with the brick work and granite to complement the slab. I could not be more satisfied and pleased. If you see what you want in their selection, get it. You will not be disappointed!

Hard Maple Wide Plank (Face Grain) Countertop
I was honestly suprirsed at how well this turned out. I came across Hardwood Lumber via a Google Search and, since they had decent rating, I decided to purchase a 2' x 4' maple countertop to use as a desk. Once it arrived, I attached some legs I bought and it was good to go. I had actually considered making this myself, as I'm a hobbyist woodworker, but after pricing out materials + time, it was clear that Hardwood Lumber was comparable in price, if not a little cheaper, honestly. The cost of shipping cut it close and without the shipping charge, Hardwood Lumber would have been the cheaper option. With shipping, it really came out to a +/- $20 difference. But, if that meant I didn't have to spent a weekend glueing maple boards together and flattening the whole thing out myself, the possibility of spending $20 extra was worth it to me.
As for the quality of the countertop, I'd give it an a solid 'A' grade. There is what I assume to be tearout on one side. I would describe it as a *very* minor defect. The side with the tearout was clearly marked with a sticker indicating that side is the bottom. Assuming this was used as a countertop, you'd literally never see it once it's attached to some cabinets. The show side, the side everybody sees, is flawless. After applying a few coats of polyurathane, this was good to go. Applying finish perfectly is always a pain and, looking back on it, I do wish I had just paid Hardwood Lumber the few extra bucks to have them apply a finish.
Turn around felt a little slower than I initially expected, somewhere around 2 months, I believe, but I assume they are processing orders in the order they are received, which would explain the delay. I suppose in the age of Amazon, you expect orders to arrive too quickly. Regardless, the finish result was worth the wait. The cost of shipping was reasonable. The countertop was packaged well. In my experience, UPS/FedEx can be rough with larger packages and I assumed a few dings and scratches would happen. I was wrong. The countertop was packaged more than good enough to ensure it arrived with zero shipping damage. I was honestly a little surprise.
Overall, I'm super happy with the results. I will be looking at redoing my actual kitchen countertops here in a year or two and Hardwood Lumber has shot to the top of my list as companies to keep in mind when that time comes. Even with the longer than expected turnaround, I would still give the experience and finish product an over all A+ raiting.

Brazilian Cherry (Jatoba) Edge Grain Butcher Block Countertop
I didn’t have to do anything! This perfectly finished, perfectly sized, beautiful butcher block arrived at my door and all I had to do was put some feet on it and slap it down on the counter. It feels like a full kitchen makeover in my tiny apartment. 10/10 would recommend.
