Unfortunately it is the same as any fan, it cools you down if directly on you but if anything it makes the room itself warmer even when filled with ice water the temperature in the room creeps up. So if you want a standard fan to sit in front of to cool you down as an individual it works fine but to cool the room do not buy

Fan works okay. It’s a plastic fan made in China. Fan base was damaged when it arrived, but having had so much trouble contacting the company to establish order confirmation and delivery time, I couldn’t be bothered to ask for a replacement.

After buying several air coolers and fans, none of which were effective, I did some research and came across this one.I bought 2. It has been a huge help this summer and cools the rooms perfectly. It is a bit noisy when on high, but does have a sleep mode which is quieter. It also has a timer. The air vent is easy to pop out of a window. and i've used a bucket to collect the water. I would 100% recommend this unit, we had it at a great price too, however it does seem to have significantly increased in price now.

I've been very impressed with this fan, it's been a godsend at night during the heatwaves. Really does create a lovely breeze and the night time mode is so quiet even I can sleep with it on which is saying something!

It just lasts for 10-12 months!!!! you can get a better one on the market

Have three doing their job in bathrooms and laundry room

This ice cream and slushie maker is a great addition to the kitchen. I love that it has a built-in compressor so there's no need to freeze the bowl overnight. The ice cream is delicious creamy and easy to customise with different flavours and mix-ins. The presets make it simple to switch between ice cream slushies and other frozen treats. One thing to note is that the lid needs to be lined up correctly before making slushies otherwise the machine won't operate properly. Once positioned correctly it works really well and produces refreshing results. The compact design is convenient and the self-cleaning function makes tidying up much easier. Overall it's a versatile and enjoyable machine for homemade frozen treats. Similar to a well known brand but at half the price. I can only recommend this

I'm really impressed with this slushie/frozen cocktail machine especially after watching so many videos on its competitor machines. It's surprisingly quiet so it can run in the kitchen without being intrusive. The Pina Colada and Mojito recipes are particularly tasty and the dispensing design is excellent â drinks come out from the bottom meaning the remaining mixture stays cold and well mixed between servings. One important thing to know is that the recipe ratios really matter so don'tbe thinking you can go all healthy with it. You need a reasonably high sugar honey or fat content for the mixture to freeze properly and you also need to keep the alcohol content within the recommended range. Don't be tempted to deviate too far from the recipes as the alcohol and sugar levels affect whether it will actually slush up. The instructions could definitely be better. They aren't especially clear about some of the machine's features âfor example you can add extra liquid using the pull-off tab in the top of the handle which isn't obvious from the instructions. No solids are allowed such as frozen fruit etc. you basically need to do all your mashing mixing juicing before any mixture even goes in the machine as although it had a paddle its more for keeping the mixture moving for freezing purposes rather than mixing it up. The other thing to be aware of is the waiting time. Expect roughly an hour for a batch of drinks so it isn't something you switch on and immediately start serving from. Once it's ready though it does a great job of keeping the mixture cold and ready to dispense. Overall a fun machine that makes really good frozen cocktails is quiet and easy to use once you've got the hang of the recipes. Just follow the recipes carefully and be prepared to wait for that first batch!

This has quickly become one of my favourite kitchen gadgets. Being able to decide I fancy some ice cream and actually make it there and then is brilliant. There is no bowl taking up space in the freezer and no having to remember to pre freeze anything the night before. I started with the included vanilla recipe and the result was excellent. It came out smooth creamy and with that lovely soft serve consistency rather than feeling like a semi frozen milkshake. It is very easy to use as well. I pour the mixture into the tub choose the programme select the thickness I want and let the compressor and paddle do the rest. The title says it can be ready in 20 minutes. In my use the quicker drinks have been close to that with a slushie taking around 25 minutes. Ice cream has been closer to 30 minutes which I still think is fantastic. Half an hour from ingredients to freshly made ice cream feels incredibly convenient when the alternative with a traditional machine is remembering to freeze the bowl the day before. I also really like having five thickness settings as I can make something softer and easier to drink or go thicker and creamier for a dessert. The versatility is another big part of why I like it so much. Ice cream is what initially interested me but I have ended up enjoying the frozen drinks just as much. Fizzy drinks work really well on the slushie setting and come out with a smooth even texture rather than lots of coarse bits of ice. There are separate programmes for things like frappés milkshakes fruit slushies and frozen cocktails too so there is plenty to experiment with rather than it being something I will only bring out occasionally for ice cream. It is worth reading the recipe guidance. You cannot simply pour in a zero sugar drink or throw ice cubes and frozen fruit into it. The mixture needs enough sugar to freeze correctly and alcoholic drinks need to stay within the recommended strength. In practice I have not found that restrictive at all. Normal full sugar drinks fruit juice and the supplied ice cream recipes are straightforward and once I understood how it works I have been able to concentrate on trying different flavours and combinations. It has a cleaning mode and running it immediately after making something gives the tub and paddle a good rinse and makes the final clean much easier. Anything containing milk or cream still deserves a proper wash afterwards but the removable parts are easy enough to deal with and I have not found cleaning it off putting. What really sells this machine for me is the combination of speed and convenience. I can make genuinely good soft serve ice cream slushies and frozen drinks whenever I fancy them without having to plan ahead and the results have been far better than I expected from something so easy to use. I can see this getting a lot of use particularly through the warmer months and I would happily recommend it to anyone who likes making their own ice cream or frozen drinks at home.

This is a surprisingly large machineâ much bigger than a large Nespresso coffee machineâ so do watch the product videos and check the dimensions before ordering. It also has a noticeable plastic smell when first unboxed so I would recommend washing all removable parts thoroughly before its first use. I tried the frozen margarita recipe from the QR-code recipe collection mainly because it was the only one for which I already had all the ingredients (oh no!) It initially estimated around 24 minutes but then the machine adjusts the time as it works by monitoring the mixture's thickness. The estimate can (and did) rise quite significantly. I foolishly didn't time it but it was much nearer an hour than the initial 24mins. The display is useful here: you can actually see the consistency level counting up. The resulting cocktail was very sweet for my taste but it had a proper frozen drinkable texture and worked well through both standard and narrow straws. One full batch produced enough for 3 large margherita glasses. If making several cocktails I would pre-mix and chill them in the fridge first to reduce the overall mixing time. A couple of practical points: make absolutely sure the container is properly closed before adding ingredients as this could get messy otherwise. The drip tray is genuinely useful catching spills and condensation from the cold jug although I had to remove it to fit normal-sized cocktail glasses beneath the dispensing area. This is not a Mr Whippy-style machine and will not extrude beautifully textured soft-serve ice cream; it pours out frozen drinks but thick deserts will need to be spooned from the container. It is reasonably quiet in use - roughly comparable to a Nespresso Vertuo machine while it is spinning a pod or a noisy fan oven. It makes a gentle trickling-water sound during operation which initially had me repeatedly checking that everything was still sealed correctly. Cleaning is slightly fiddly; you run the self-clean cycle for 5 mins then there is a max 5 mins of cleaning the removable components in the sink. One genuinely good reason to own this is if your household has specific dietary requirements. You control exactly what goes into it so it should be useful for dairy-free desserts lower-sugar options protein shakes alcohol-free frozen cocktails or avoiding particular allergens. That said frozen desserts are a bit more science than simply chucking ingredients in and hoping for the best. Sugar alcohol and fat all affect how the mixture freezes so swapping ingredients (especially using sugar-free versions) may change the final texture or stop it freezing correctly. For example regular Coke can be made into a slush but Coke Zero may freeze too solidly and damage the machine. I was hoping to find healthy ice cream recipies for dogs - but the sugar content requirement may complicate things. Still if you are prepared to experiment with suitable recipes it offers far more flexibility than picking from whatever happens to be in the supermarket freezer. Will this be used every day? No. Will it spend much of its life in a cupboard or garage? Probably. But it will be brilliant to bring out for parties family visits kids' treats and the occasional sunny afternoon. I don't NEED this - supermarkets sell perfectly good ice cream but it turns making and eating a treat into an occasion. For that it is great fun.

works a treat and with wifi its great to turn on and off and alerts on the phone.

The dehumidifier is doing the job I wanted it to do but I haven’t been able to connect it to the app and while it is very easy to just turn it on and let it do its stuff the instructions are very complicated

An excellent fan at CC a good price ….. has been a lifesaver this summer!!

Work as it is

Turned my attic room in to a cool oasis. Not that loud given what it's doing, and the sound soon becomes background noise.

Disappointed with this item, since I bought it based on all the good reviews. Perhaps I have a Friday afternoon model! Yes, it looks good, was initially very quiet and is powerful for the price. An annoying rattle has developed on all 3 settings bizarrely. So wil be sending it back and hopefully can try another one.
It would be good to have a built in timer on it so you can set for night time sleeping.

This product worked for about 10 days then failed completely. The company asked for a video of it not working. What genius thought of that one. They do not take returns so you can't send it back and there seems to be no guarantee to claim on. We have been given the run around by their staff to the point I've given up. I am a pensioner with little knowledge of mobile phones and computers and they were asking for things I didn't understand. I wouldn't touch this company with a barge pole.

Good to be able to choose a variety of speeds with oscillation. Has helped very well to cool my bedroom during the heatwaves. Remote control is useful.

Really good air conditioner and super quiet. The hose is only thing stopping me giving 5 stars. Is too short to reach a relatively normal window height.

Best buy of the year. Not as cold as I expected like a split type AC but made me sleep as comfortable as I could be during heatwave season.
