It's easy to live with
12L Dehumidifier with Built-in Humidistat
This 12L per day dehumidifier is just right to deal with dampness in my caravan bedroom. Simple touch panel controls instant humidity display humidity preset and timer. Auto continuous and sleep modes fast and slow fan speeds. Storage function to dry the filter and prevent mould. Easily removable 1.8L water tank with float valve so it doesn't overflow and baffles so the water doesn't slosh around and spill. It's not silent about the noise of a floor fan or a small air con. I could sleep with it on but I don't run it overnight. The unit is compact easily moveable with wheels and a handle. It's easy to live with.

This unit very effectively cools down a room fairly quickly. Like all air conditioners it requires a window to vent the hot air. Usefully this Pro Breeze comes with an adjustable length of plastic venting attachment strip which at its base is a clip-on attachment for the plastic hose to vent. Although this attachment was initially designed for sliding doors or sash windows it can also be effectively used with (double glazed) outward opening windows. This needs some experimentation to find the best position to secure the plastic 'strip' and vent against the open window and frame. Place something under the air conditioner - plywood sheet/small carpet to stop the wheels depressing the carpet - as for all air conditioners I would suggest.

This has been a great buy. Large collecting container and when full switches itself off. Have used it regularly and very pleased with it.

Honestly this has been an absolute life saver during the latest heatwave. After the warm weather at the end of May I decided it was time to go for it as it was so early in the summer. Using it in our average sized bedroom during this latest heatwave wave has made our room actually habitable. Yes it's quite big and loud but it's taken the room temperature from 33 to 25ish in about 30 mins and through the night down to 20. No it doesn't reach the set 16 degrees in this heat but it does more than enough to get a good nights sleep. I actually don't mind the noise - it's far easier to fall asleep with the noise than the oppressive heat. Didn't manage to figure out the window kits too well but just putting the hose out the hinge window and pulling too just enough to keep in place provides enough cool air. Still 5 stars!

I don't know if it's because the first time I'm trying it is in a room that is 31° or if it's the product itself but whilst it does bring the temperature down by a few degrees over a few hours it's not quick. It is loud but I was expecting it to be. Maybe I will leave another review in a few weeks when it's a bit cooler (which somewhat defeats the point)

Purchased late May ( beginning of previous hot spell) arrived when the temperatures had cooled however it came into its own this week when we have been experiencing temps of 33C No problem in cooling bedroom rapidly to 22 C Bought this make as it was well recommended by Which?

It is pretty good does cool the room down but isn't the quietest. Even on sleep mode it is pretty loud but thankful to have it during the heat wave! Easy to install and like that it can be used for more than just air conditioning (a fan and dehumidifier too)

Good air con machine. It's noisy but most machines are. Easy to set up and to control the remote control is easy to hold and to operate. It is a nice size and doesn't take too much space up in your room. Good quick delivery would recommend this seller.

Fantastic product cools down my bedroom super quick. Easy to set up and use. It is heavy but I carried it up the stairs by myself. I haven't tried the sleep mode just yet I do find the machine a tad loud but you do get use to it after a while. I've only used it a few times so far so we will see how it goes but I'm very impressed so far

Poor performance and extremely loud I had the 5000 but probreeze unit before and it was 10x more efficient and cooling the room and at a much quieter volume too The silly blank off plate that makes the air flow only from the first few fins on the right makes for awful blowing spread so unless the unit is under 3feet away from you and you are in direct line of fire then you would simply assume you'd lived by an active airport with continous flight takeoff/landings I sold off the 5000 btu unit to upgrade" aswell so bit sad really"

The cooling does work but the problem is you have to vent it outside and the parts included is for sash windows only. We have to have the window open to flop out the expanding vent which defeats the purpose and minimises the cooling effect. It's also very noisy so you couldn't sleep with it on.

So this is my first air-con purchase after doing some extensive research. Most rate this as the best on a budget and I agree. It is currently saving me from melting in this London heatwave and I bought this as I came to a point where I refuse to go sleepless on one more horribly warm night relying on a measly fan. And am I glad I bit the bullet and did it. Yes it's louder than my fan but you're not going to get a super quiet version on a budget. So you need to be ok with that. Nothing a pair of ear plugs (mine are Loop plugs - highly recommend) can't fix. It's either this or you pay up and go for an expensive model. It's great value for money has a strong airflow looks modern weighs a bit but the wheels make it easy to manouver and general great performance overall. Highly recommend! ps. read the description - it comes with an attachment thing for casement style windows - bought one separately not realising it already comes with one!
