My Tree came on time, but it has died!!! How do I get another one?

Have been buying fruit trees from Tyty for many years. They are all healthy. Bought a summer muscat grape vine last year. Have grapes this year, but the color is not right. Contacted Tyty company. After reviewed the pictures. Tyty sent me a correct Vine right away. The vine sprouts within one week. Hope next year I can have some summer mast at grapes. Very honest and efficient.

I am very happy with the apple trees. I also ordered 4 Raspberry bushes- Two are doing great but the other two look like they might be dead 😢

Trees arrive. Planted. 5 out it 5. Three die. Looking for a return option

I immediately planted my trees correctly the day I received them. The sassafras seemed as if it had not come out of winter dormancy, as it had not leaves or buds.
It has not produced leaves or buds.
I believe it is dead.
Would you please send me another one?
The redbud seems to be holding on. It had leaves when it arrived, but still has no new growth.

I just wanted to inform you that the 6 raspberry plants that I bought last month from you still do not show any sign of life . Not even one of them . I did a scratch test at the lower leg of them and did not see anything green.
I am wondering if I can get refunded for them? rudi ratloss

I purchased a cherry flowering tree. It looked pretty dead when I took it from the box. I trusted the process and planted it (following the directions) sure enough it was dead. Sad about the tree and wasted money.

Plant arrived crispy and dead. I would not purchase trees from them again!

First order came as a damaged empty box. Not TyTy fault. They sent me another tree no problem. Nice.

Shopping was fine but 3 out of the 5 plants I ordered died within 2 weeks of delivery. 1 plant arrived with crispy leaves before it was even taken out of the shipping package.

Back in April I bought a blueberry plant from this company. It arrived in extremely poor condition. Some plastic wrap and wet newspaper around roots. That’s it ! Obviously plant was dead shortly after. I reached to customer service and was told they process refunds in June, that’s almost 2 months later - I think they do it on purpose so customer can’t file for chargeback - like it was in my case. In June I was told to come back in July - new policy. When I raised concern - I was told I ll be given credit for $29 out of $65. And have to pay another $30 for shipping. So by their logic I have to pay $90 for blueberry plant (I can buy for $15 in Lowe’s) - and there is no guarantee it survives or a healthy one. Of course I won’t do that. Terrible service borderline scam. Please stay clear of this business if you don’t want months of back and forth - no plant - and no money.

Will not be purchasing any more plant materials from TyTy.

I bought some trees for very decent prices when they were on sale. I was a bit disappointed when I saw the cost of shipping when I went to finalize my order, as it ate quite a bit into the savings. However, I decided to just go ahead and do it, cause they had the varieties I wanted at still decent prices compared to others. I was disappointed again when I received them and realized they were bare root. I probably should have paid better attention to the description. Nothing bare root ever grows for me. However, I planted 1 pecan, 2 apples, and 1 grape vine 8 days ago and they all have green leaves growing already! And one of the apple trees even has little apple blossoms. So even with the shipping and bare root disappointments, I consider my purchase a good investment. Thank you!

I order plants, pay for shipping, some die, you credit me, I order more, pay for shipping again, some die, you credit me once again and expect me to redeem certificate, and pay for shipping once again. Ridiculous policy, should be an actual refund in there somewhere.

I received what appeared to be a dead branch with dead roots. I went ahead and followed all the instructions exactly even adding the additions that were supposed to enable the vines to grow, and now several weeks later, I still have two dead branches in the ground with no sign of life. I wish I would have read all the reviews before purchasing from Ty Ty Nursery because I read that many people had the same experience.

I am very disappointed with my recent experience.

In April 2025, we purchased and planted a Spring Snow Flowering Crabapple Tree from this nursery. The tree seemed to do reasonably well the first year, but this spring it never produced leaves or buds on the upper portion of the tree. We waited about a month to make sure it was not simply a late bloom, but by late May/early June it was clear the tree had failed. The only growth we saw was coming from the base near the soil line, which appeared to be sucker growth rather than normal canopy growth.

I contacted the nursery on May 22 with a detailed explanation and a photo. I then followed up after receiving no response. Still nothing. We later investigated further and confirmed the tree was completely dead; when we cut it down at the base, there was no green in the core or any sign of living tissue. I also had a photo documenting that condition.

The most frustrating part is not just that the tree failed — plants can fail. The issue is that I reached out in good faith, provided details, offered to send additional information, and asked for guidance on whether this should be handled as a warranty/replacement issue. The nursery never responded at all.

Now I am being asked to review my “recent experience,” and unfortunately my experience was that once there was a problem, communication disappeared. For a nursery selling trees and plants that customers invest time and money into, basic follow-up and customer service should be expected.

Based on this experience, I would be very hesitant to purchase from this nursery again or recommend them to others.
