Although one tree was leafing out (and looking good) the other came completely dormant (like a long stick) - it’s already budding after just a few days in the ground. Happy with my purchase and experience. Trees were well packaged. Just placed a second order.

I ordered two 5-6 ft redbud trees. While Ordering online, the 25% discount pupped up and I entered the code., not realizing it that I had actually qualified for a 30% discount. I wish the system had alerted me appropriately. The white redbud was large and survived the shipment well. However the red one did not. The shipping box was damaged and the top 2 ft of the tree broke in 3 places, so I ended up with a 4 ft tree., which was smaller with smaller trunk diameter. Both have been planted and I hope for the best. Had a long bamboo stack been attached to the trunk, perhaps the tree would have been protected.

So far, so good. The plants came a bare roots and the roots looked very good. All but one has started to come out of dormancy and its only been a few days so I'm sure the one that hasn't will soon.

I have no problem with any of what I've received from you other than you seem to want to ignore that this is being bought for separate property in MO. The actual purchases are being made by my brother Kevin Merck. You are making it very difficult to do business with you. If you want my business, you have to please my brother, not me.

I was looking for large asian persimmons, which are hard to find. Ty Ty had them and were quick to ship them out, but the plants are unlikely to live. The roots have been mutilated and the leaves were totally dried and shriveled. We bought some Paw Paws from them earlier this spring and those have still not put out leaves (also had mutilated root systems). I am guessing the same of those too. I would look at other nurseries before buying from these folks. They are the last resort as far as I am concerned.
