My hazelnut tree I have received does not look alive at all. Absolutely zero leaves. Quince tree had about 10 leaves all brown, looking unhealthy.

One tree died out of 7 planted. Not too bad. I'll call and see if they will replace it. The other six look good and survived the transplanting by using the directions provided. New growth everywhere except one that did not look so good from the start. :(

I contacted customer service and sent pictures of my 5 berry plants that did not come out of dormancy. I have not heard anything back from them yet about refund/credit. I’ve typically had good experiences dealing with TyTy but this is concerning!!

I placed 2 orders in the last 6 months the first order was for dormant plants and ALL survived EXCEPT the white Babylon pomegranate. When I was SURE that the pomegranate was deceased I ordered a second one which arrived with yellow leaves. I potted it and watched it slowly defoliate and it is currently STILL in that condition! I do not believe it will survive. I would like to have this variety in my orchard but I am reticent to order another plant at $40 / plant including shipping for fear that it too will not survive! I am not sure of your plant replacement policy, but I have 2 different varieties of pomegranate in my orchard with plants over 8 FT, and I can assure you that my treatment of the seedlings WAS NOT the cause of their demise. Thank you for the trees. I have bought many trees from you over the years, and I trust your company. Some of them are still alive, but unfortunately some of them are gone. I had a credit on my account, and somehow I cannot apply it to my upcoming purchase. It would be very helpful if the credits were more visible and easier for customers to access. Thank you.

I do not recommend ordering from TyTy. Trees are very small with few leaf buds and poor root development, and customer service is slow and unhelpful. A persimmon we received last year had a single, 2 inch root and dead top 4 inches of tree. I reported immediately and requested credit or replacement but was told to wait one year. This year, the tree is still dead. Refused to credit my card. Refused to ship a replacement tree. Was told I could only buy another tree and had to pay shipping. Shipping cost — whether 1 tree or 10– is $24.98.

Service is great! I ordered 3 trees but when the box arrived, it appeared to have been tampered with and all 3 trees were missing. TyTy quickly resolved the issue by resending me my trees. Very very happy with the service. The shipping culprit was UPS so be careful and check your shipment when it arrives.

As far as bare root shipments go the amount of care for the roots was above average I still got one out of four trees with a single tap root with maybe two very small roots coming off of it. From my few year's of planting bare root trees these are the type that don't make it which puts me a year behind in growth by the time a replacement comes after claiming the one year guarantee.
