I have only had the unit for a month. I have checked it twice and found the representatives helpful. I have not had to use it in an emergency. One drawback: The unit must be close to my computer as it is on the cable. They have trouble hearing me if I am not about 20 feet away.

While I hope I never have to use it my Medical Alert gives me great peace of mind. I like the wrist model and it is so comfortable I often forget that I am even wearing it. My family also appreciates knowing that I am protected. Mary F.

I have already recommended Medical Alert to numerous friends. I feel that my Medical Alert may have saved my life six weeks ago. I fell face down on my driveway after losing my balance by stepping on a pinecone. I am 84 years old and live alone. I called for help to no avail. I heard a voice say, "Medical Alert detected a fall. Are you alright." I responded, "No." The alert said, "Are you at home?" I responded, "Yes. On my driveway and bleeding from my head." The alert said, "Do you want me to call 911?" I said, "Yes, please hurry." Within five minutes the emergency crews arrived and transported me to the hospital emergency room. Fortunately, I live close to the hospital. I spent the night in ER and received 15 stitches in my forehead, many X-Rays and two CT Scans. I wear my alert during all of my waking hours. Thank you Medical Alert.
I just called to see if I could somehow get the volume up but I was told no. I look at this could be a matter of life and death and for as much as I paid for this and when my wife finds out I will be looking elsewhere for another company. My husband has had to have the medical alert activated about 12 times just since he got it the end of April. It has made it so much easier on me knowing someone can help him if I am not there.Or even when I am here as I can not get him up off the floor. They respond immediately and I appreciate that very much.

This service is for my mother. She just needed a new wriststrap because the old one was wearing out. As usual, you all took care of everything efficiently and kindly. Thus far the system is good. I feel safer having this in place in casethere is an incident which occurs as I get older. It is good to get this in place while you are able to understand the process. As one ages our mental alertness decreases.

Prompt response and pleasant "crew". They apparently did not know where house key is located. I did not discuss it with them, didn't notice it till thinking about it later. I have called and you have the correct info. Key under handrail at side door.

I have had some problems with the sensitivity of the alarm. While talking to your representative, I pressed the button as she said it should be set every week to be sure it is working. While talking to her, I pressed the button but set it off and they tried to call me but I was talking to your representative, so they sent an ambulance. I also set off the alarm when the metal support in my bra hit the button. As a result, I am slightly intimidated and afraid I will set it off. i also have a hearing problem and may not hear the response. I think it is a good protection, but am not using it as much as I should.
