Ambient Weather WS-5000 Ultrasonic Professional Smart Weather Station & Thermo Hygrometer
This is replacing a 2902 station and is quite an upgrade. Information is more in depth and seems more accurate. The faster refresh rate is also noticeable and appreciated. The lack of moving parts should equate to longer life. I however have a couple of small criticisms that a unit of this caliber should not have. One is the lack of a firm grip of the anemometer on a 1" galvanized pole. I added some rubber to make it hold tighter against the pole. Also the archaic parameter set up on the display are confusing. If these two areas of concern were addressed I believe this would be a very hard to beat weather station. All other aspects of this unit are superb. Thank you.

Ambient Weather WS-5000 Ultrasonic Professional Smart Weather Station & Thermo Hygrometer
So far, about two weeks, I have been very pleased. The display is bright and easy to read. Setup was not tedious. Previous stations have suffered from damage or problems with moving parts so I am expectiong this unit to outperform those.

Ambient Weather WS-5000 Ultrasonic Professional Smart Weather Station & Thermo Hygrometer
Nice, full featured, and has worked fine as a great replacement for my prior station that had a moving anemometer that would get snowed in. Just a nitpick, that they should have better instructions on how to attach the rain gauge to the sane pole as the sensor array, including a bracket to allow this.
