Ambient Weather WS-5000-MOUNT-BRACKET Replacement Mounting Bracket for WS-5000 and WS-5050 Ultrasonic Weather Station
The part is fine but in both cases, with each unit I used, the hole for the metal tube that supports tne instrument was a bit loose after insertion and placing the screw that secures and encloses the support arm. Once again, I had to place a shim piece around the support to steady it. I expected to have a firm fit and had I left it sloppy I'm sure the wind would have caused excess wear making it even looser and increasing sloppy as time went on. Obviously it's in the design as I believe I received all the correct parts but I'm perplexed at the loose fit unless there is a reason in the design that I'm unaware of?

Ambient Weather WS-2902 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
Wonderful experience with this station. Appears to be accurate; appreciate the charts online and on the mobile app.
Two improvements would be to provide wind history for week, month and year. Also provide date/time for ytd highs and lows for temp and humidity.

Working great all through winter 2020-21 in WNC. Wind speed and direction seems accurate and sensitive to light winds. KNCBlack7

This is an absolutely great product. It's easy to setup and accurate. When I turn on the console it connects in just a few seconds. The console is well laid out and easy to read.
My wish list request is to have a USB port on the console so you can connect it to a computer instead of having to remove the SD card.

Ambient Weather WS-2902 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
The weather station is first rate. It has excellent transmission distance to in house receiver. There was some issue with the in house connection to wifi. All router wifi frequencies had to be disabled except 2.5 MHz to initialize the connection. Also the set up can only be accomplished with a tablet or phone, not computer. Other than the setup issues it have been outstanding and I recommend without reservation.

Ambient Weather WS-5000 Ultrasonic Professional Smart Weather Station & Thermo Hygrometer
Really pleased with the full-featured sensor array, and readings are consistent and the base station signal range is very good. As others have said, the display is by far the best, colorful, sharp and clear, easy to read from any angle. Good info layout and menus. I bought the lightning detector which is sensitive enough to pick up hits at 25+ mi. range. In Florida, storms are frequent in summer, the rain gauge is sensitive and accurate. This is the one to get! Not cheap, but you get a solid weather station that works well and will last many years to come

Ambient Weather WS-5000 Ultrasonic Professional Smart Weather Station & Thermo Hygrometer
Pretty quick and easy to setup and install. Took about an hour from unboxing to having it up, running, and connected to the internet and reporting. A few issues with how the website reports data, not a lot of flexibility with the configuration of how data is displayed. Embeds easily into your own website. Design wise, not sure why temperature and wind are combined, makes it hard to get accurate wind and/or temperature - wind should be higher up and temperature should be lower down. Adding extra sensors is easy and so far works well. We will see how it lasts over time.

Please rewrite your instructions the weather station clamps will not fir a 2" metal conduit pole. The only 2" pole that would work would have to be wood only.

Ambient Weather WS-2902 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
So far so good after about a week of run time on it. Set up was relatively easy; make sure to tighten the set screws on the wind vane and speed cups. I thought I had them and turned it upside down and both fell off. The part that got a little fuzzy was directions on connecting to wi-fi and all the different networks you can affiliate with. I managed to muddle through. I do like the information on the console; all the parameters seem to track with other sources. Overall I am pleased with the purchase and would recommend it to others.
