This station is great. I have one at home and one at the office. I’ve given 4 as gifts. I highly recommend it.

Hello from New Zealand!

I am very satisfied with my new WS-2902C which I received from you in mid-December 2020.

In my career before retirement I was an environmental plant scientist. I started working with weather stations in the 1970s to obtain the data needed to drive our new crop growth models. Getting reliable weather data was difficult and expensive. The stations and models were great technical challenges and were primitive by today's standards. Modern equipment like the WS-2902C was unimaginable and I am enjoying having mine as a 'new toy'!

I had a temporary issue when the RF signal from the sensor array to the console intermittently dropped out and then restored. During the drop outs the displays of all the outdoor conditions (temperature, humidity, windspeed, wind direction, rain UVI and light) were lost. Then they restored spontaneously. I followed the maintenance and troubleshooting guide on page 47 of the User Manual and it has operated perfectly since then. I suspect installing new batteries in the sensor array fixed the problem (although the original ones were only about 2 months old).

Overall, I am very satisfied so far.

Kind regards
Derek Wilson

Easy to setup with the detailed manual provided.
I bought 7 additional sensors. 5 of which are temp/humidity sensors and I was pleased to find they and the main sensors were within half a degree of accuracy right or of the box when I went to calibrate them using my psychrometer.
This is a very good system for the money. Great value. I've recommended this model to a couple of friends.

Awesome. It can lots of information and has a great screen.

So far, so good. I've only had it outside a couple of days and it hasn't been very windy nor has it rained.

This product would be almost perfect, if it would not lose connection between the Gateway (Observer IP) and the Station (WS-1550) so often...
This is really sad it is not "Reliable".

Our second Ambient Weather station and we love the WS-5000. The ultrasonic wind speed/direction sensor works great. Very satisfied.

Purchased for my son for a good project for his young children. (We have one.) He thinks this is a great thing to do! It's a good system and gives you all the basic weather.

This is great. Really like to know what the temp outside is and in a couple inside areas as well.

I keep this unit at my summer mountain cabin (600 miles away) so I can monitor the weather and any related concerns. I'm also learning a lot about the weather patterns there. This station is a real treasure!

Pretty easy to instal and setup. Good instructions. Worked well through all kinds of weather. Very nice unit.

I like this system, I can go online from anywhere to see the weather conditions at my house, much nicer than conditions from an area of different elevation or hidden in a valley or even behind a some type of barrier such as in a valley. I use the Ambient weather app on my phone but its also connected to WeatherUnderground.

Excellent weather station. I have almost two months with my station and I’m 100% satisfy with its performance!

I got this station because of the soil moisture sensor integration. I'm still waiting for these sessions to be available. Other than that it works great. No moving parts is a great advantage. Be sure to get a bird guard gior the rain sensor.

Easy to install. Works like a charm, easy to use.

I like the ultrasound sensor array very much, so far. The console that came with the WS-5000 did not recognize my WiFi router, and I was about ready to send it back for a replacement. Then, I tried the "hidden SSID" function, and it worked. However, my router's SSID is not hidden, and it works very well with other devices. This obviously is a firmware/software issue, and needs to be addressed ASAP. Otherwise, I still have to mount the rain gauge on a post, so will have a report on that next week.

I love the weather station; two complaints so far; the additional display unit that came with is not the same dispay, the fields are in different order and sizes and is not as user friendly; I would have liek to have known it wasn't 2 identical displays. Also the wireless seems to drop out every so often; about once a week and still have not been able to get it fixed

very well made. Easy to set up. works as designed. The easy Wi-Fi setup is excellent.

Does Everything I want it to do. The installation was easy. Good Bang for the buck!
