Ambient Weather WS-2902 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
Relatively easy to set-up (for a complete weather station). I installed in September 2020 and it continues to work through early March 2021. Made it through our winter weather in February. Display is well organized, but difficult to view from various angles. Set-up for connecting to various cloud services (Ambient Weather, PWS, Weather Underground) were straight-forward. I can view my weather data from several websites. I've been very happy with my unit.

So far it’s worked perfectly - installed on the roof on a pole about 5 feet tall. It was easy to hook up to Ambient Weather website and also Weather Underground.

Ambient Weather WS-5000 Ultrasonic Professional Smart Weather Station & Thermo Hygrometer
Got the ws5000 with 4 temp/humid sensors & 2 pool/spa sensors. After 4 months all still working perfect. Previouly owned an AcuRite which seemed to lose its connection frequently not just to the base unit, but also to the extra sensors. NO LOSSES WITH AMBIENT. I like the better details on the website and the Android app is excellent. This is a well thought out an executed solution. The only part that is sub par is the bird deterrent. It works, but surely there is a better way to make and attach it.
We just survived a big freeze in Texas and we'll probably have a hurricane this year. Glad I tossed the AcuRite and switched.
Chk out my station KTXHOUST600.

So far it's been operating for 2 days and has been flawless. The 4.5 second updates are pretty amazing.

Ambient Weather WS-2902 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
Used at a very remote location where internet is often down and always slow. The weather station reconnects without a hitch after an outage. In other respects it has been functioning without a hitch. I have two other different model Ambient weather stations at other locations. They are more problematic as to rainfall amounts, but this one seems to be spot on and reliable.

Ambient Weather WS-2000 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
My wife purchased this unit for my birthday as an upgrade to an earlier Ambient model. This is more precise, has a color display and an automatic turnoff of the screen overnight. One feature I really appreciate is the bird spikes around the rain gauge. I have lots of birds (good thing) but the like the 10 foot perch and would foul the rain collection. Still have to clean it but much less often.

Love this device. I live in San Felipe, Baja Mexico, and our weather information is scarce. Installation was a breeze and connecting to the https://www.wunderground.com/wundermap site was pretty straight forward. My statioin is IMEXIC63.

We are really enjoying our new weather station. It is the first thing we look at in the morning and the last thing we check before bedtime.

We absolutely love our WS-2000. We mounted the monitor in our kitchen where we can always watch the weather trends and prepare for the outdoors. This has provided for a great education in weather predictability as well, the entire family uses it. Super easy to set up, we can post our local weather, what a great weather station!

Ambient Weather WS-2000 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
I bought the Ambient Weather station after doing a lot of research it has alot of addons like the water temp for pool or hot tub and many others and it was so simple to install and program. You do need to have a lot of AA battery it does not include in the device or the accessory. I would recommend this product.

Seenn my s good so far. I would make a couple of suggestions though. First, the console display news updating to today’s tech. While it’s colorful, it newer graphics. Second, one of the things I am adding is lightning detection. I can understand this config not having it, but it would be good to display it if you add it.

A wonderful system. Easy to set up. I like the additional sensors. The WS5000 puts a lot of information in a small space.

When my WS-8478 Falcon Weather Station died after a couple of years (outdoor temperature sensor went kaput – I don't think I'd give it a great review), I replaced it with a WS-5000. So far it has behaved nearly as expected. The exception was that the wind speed and direction got "stuck" for 8 hours. Exactly the same reading. This was shortly after we had a reasonably strong wind storm, with gusts around 50 MPH. I don't know if that's related to the sensor glitch or not. I'm happy it reset itself. I sent an e-mail to Ambient Weather telling them about it, but never heard back from them. Otherwise the system is good. I like the display, and I'm happy with the new indoor sensors that have an LCD display that shows you the temperature and humidity on the sensor. Installation was easy. It would be nice if there was a mounting option that allowed the rain collector to mount on the pole along with the main sensor. Setting up the Internet and connection to Weather Underground was the same as setting up my WS-8478 earlier.

I love the instrument and the ability to check my data from anywhere, using the app.
My one quibble is with the. "tablet" displaying the data. The interface is like that of Compuserve 1995, very clunky. These days it should be very easy to program being able to easily scroll through data, update max and min, etc. But, it can take several minutes or more to do so.

It is fantastic and we use it every day. Our son-in-law and daughter also purchased one after seeing ours. For some reason it did not reset for March 1. I need to check the instructions to see if we have to make a different setting.
