Ambient Weather WS-2902 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
Great little machine. The temps are spot on, wind is pretty good .. rainfall is still a work in progress. It’s lower than a calibrated collection canister nearby during light rain... much higher in heavy rain. Still tweaking the settings on the indoor station but really happy with it. Lots of data to save and review ...!

Ambient Weather WS-2902 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
I bought the Ambient Weather WS-2902C Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitor for my husband's birthday gift. We live on the Tennessee River on a bluff where storms and wind can be very strong. The weather station provides us with information regarding wind velocity and rainfall and temperature changes. He enjoys having the information and keeping track of our weather. It is accurate. It is thorough. It is one of my husband's favorite gifts.

Like everything about the WS-5000 so far, but dismayed that the outdoor air quality sensor has been backordered for months - one of the primary reasons I chose the WS-5000.

I'm very happy with the Ambient WS-2902C Weather Station..
Installing the Unit and .Set of up the WiFi was easy..
The instruction walk you though each step.
Still waiting for the first big rain but it has recorded 3 hunreds of an inch.
There are other Ambient weather stations within a few miles of me .
It interesting to see the different climates in the county. Love it.

Ambient Weather WS-5000 Ultrasonic Professional Smart Weather Station & Thermo Hygrometer
The wind is most accurate. I also like the idea of a separate rain gauge with it's one transmitter, separate from the wind and temperature unit. The rain gauge sits farther out in an open area 5 ft above ground where as the wind and temperature in located above the peak of the roof. This setup gives me more accurate readings. Great weather station!

Had it a couple months (got it early). Works great, especially the anemometer. Only negative is the bird spike option -- not a good design.

Ambient Weather WS-5000 Ultrasonic Professional Smart Weather Station & Thermo Hygrometer
After almost 90 days the Ambient Weather WS-5000 Ultrasonic Professional Smart Weather Station & Thermo Hygrometer is truly a winner, especially up here in Northern Minnesota not far from the Canadian border. There are no moving parts to wear out or freeze up due to heavy wet snow and freezing rain and mist. The ultra sonic heater has so far been doing its job well.It also seems to respond quicker displaying fast changing weather conditions on its colorful dispay. Definite step up from the other whirlybird bird anemometers.

I would have given it 5 stars but you can't even get all of the sensors even from Ambient. I was wanting the WH31L for lighting but even the Ambient site does not have it.

In December I purchased the ambient weather station because my Accu Rite station died again I went through 2 of those in 3 years! So I wanted to try a different brand so far it works great & I love the display and the fact I can pair it with my phone and get local conditions no matter where I am. I am a National Weather Service SKYWARN storm spotter and a WBZ-TV 4 Boston weather watcher so I need a reliable weather station!!

Very minor assembly and mounting was smooth and predictable. Setup and linking went well by following the very informative manual. Accuracy seems very good and the Ambient website makes records and analysis a snap. Also easy to link to WU and others. I'd call it a pretty good value.

Ambient Weather WS-5000 Ultrasonic Professional Smart Weather Station & Thermo Hygrometer
Well it seems to be working ok now. I tried to install both the rain gauge on the top of the pole and the main unit on the same pole and had an issue with the brackets getting in each others way. Solved that problem and wasn't impressed with the wind speed. I have a wired Davis instruments wind gauge and found there to be a huge difference. Also I got a separate outside temp gauge which was confusing. I reacclamated the statin and the wind speed seems to have gotten better and I found the main unit has temp and humidity installed already so I took the batteries out of the separate unit and now that works well. I hook it to weather underground and am on line. Not sire about the heating eliment needed for winter well cross that bridge later. All in all it seems good. I had a ws1001 till the bearings went out on the anemometer and was happy with it for many years. Not sure I would buy it again. I like Dave but they are not wifi friendly.
