My experience was top-notch. The person I spoke to was polite and knowledgeable, and the service was as speedy as they said it would be. Doesn't get any better.

Needed a replacement part for my weather station. Good price and came quickly. It was really easy to change the part out too.

I love my weather station. We use it every day. Storms in Oklahoma can be severe. The wind direction devise was destroyed by tennis ball sized hail. I was so happy to find this store so that I could purchase a replacement.

I was concerned that I might have problems because we have steel siding on the house. No problem whatsoever. Wind speed and direction has been reporting perfectly as has the rainfall. Very happy with the Ambien 5000.

There’s never a mention that the monitor doesn’t have batteries for data backup. If you loose household power, you lose all the data such as rain amount, rate of rain, etc. Not happy about that! We live in the country and often lose power for a few seconds or minutes. If you want to preserve such data, you need to buy an uninterruptible power supply. That’s another devise sitting on your counter and extra expense!

I now operate 3 weather stations; two by Davis Instruments and my most recent purchase: Ambient 5000 Ultras. So far the Ambient is right on the money; and, I’m very impressed with the ultrasonic anemometer. I have been doing weather/climate research since graduate school (over 50 years ago). Set-up was a breeze, quality of materials first rate, and instrument accuracy is right there with my Davis stations. More than happy with my purchase; very happy. If you’re looking for an excellent, quality home weather station and don’t have $2K to spend, this Ambient 5000 Ultras is your ticket to a great weather monitoring experience.

I was having a terrible time trying to connect WIFI to my WS-2902D. With help from the gentleman from Ambient Weather support I was able to successfully connect.
The Genteman was awesome. I'm not sure but thank his name was Jordan.
Again, thanks for a job well done.

Very good experience with the Ambient weather online store. I sent an inquiry about a product compatibility question, and they responded in less than a day. This allowed me to purchase the newer model (replacement for console that went out), which I received in 3-4 days and had up and running in less than 30 minutes. The newer model (2909D) appears to be brighter, crisper readout then the older 2909C model which I accidentally destroyed by knocking it into the sink full of water.
