Everything is great but the connection to Ambient Weather.
I tried multiple times and I could not get it to connect.

Purchasing the replacement unit was easy enough - but - seeing so many people having to replace the units because the bad units drain batteries is an issue. when researching the problem - it stated to replace with lithium batteries - which I did and since the unit was bad - went thru 4 lithium batteries in 2 days - just to find out that the manual states I do not need lithium batteries if in warm climate - I would say south Louisiana has a warm climate. And last but by no means least - the lack of instructions on replacing a ws-5000 is beyond sad. When the unit is working - it is great - but all the rest is terrible.

No problem ordering or installing . Great unit. Highly recommend!
We had previously bought the wrong unit, wouldn't match up to our inside unit. Now having problems getting them to get me info on return. Otherwise great weather forecasters.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience. I bought this as a gift for my husband only to find out because we have Internet that is 5G, the weather station won’t work. Instead of customer service providing a workaround they they just wanted to sell us another product that would Not provide all the features offered. So I returned it.

It was great to talk with someone I could understand and discuss the problem. The culprit part was quickly identified and a replacement part was sold to me quickly. Shipping was relatively fast and when I received it, the swap out was 10-15 minutes. Workers like new. Thanks for the great customer support.

Purchasing my WS-5000 station through the Ambient Weather store was easy. I also bought the mounting tripod and mask accessory. I already had 1-inch-diameter, 18-inch-long rebar trap stakes, which matched the dimensions of the Stake Kit accessory, and used them. However, I had to enlarge the holes in the tripod foot bracket to 9/16-inch. Assembling the station was straightforward. The hole for the Allen bolt in the #7 Mounting Arm was not in perfect alignment with the hole in the #1 Sonic Wind Sensor Array’s port that contains the captured hex nut. I also ordered an optional mast extension made of three pieces. When assembled, there was slight movement between the pieces. Setting up the Display Monitor was easy. The data matched the readings from the iOS Weather app for my location. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase.

Spoke with tech support and they nailed the issue with the screen rebooting instead of starting. Great work troubleshooting!

Your haptic rain system sucks. Forces endless days of also having a regular NWS style raingauge in an frutile attempt to keep adjusting the settings in the hopes of eventually getting within .01 top .02 difference. And not even close to achieving that after weeks of messing with the settings from this USAF Air Force Weather veteran.

Very understanding on the phone and helped make sure I got the right part, explained the steps of what would happen and told me where it would ship from. My replacement console arrived quickly and was very well packaged. Many thanks. I will purchase directly I. The future.
