We love our weather station. When the temperature sensor stopped displaying on the display I used the website advice for things to try. When all of those did not work, I bought a new sensor package. We have used the older one for eight years in all kinds of winds, snow, birds etc. it works now and we are very pleased.

New sensor assembly won’t communicate with console. Have called and sent two emails asking for no help. No response!

I purchased the Ambient WS-2000 about three years ago and it worked fine until recently when the display console went blank and would not reboot. I spent a lot of time trying to reboot, resetting to factory defaults, and otherwise trying to figure out what was wrong. I eventually discovered that the power supply was suspect and ordered a new power supply for $20. It fixed the problem but I am unhappy about the experience – mostly the wasted time but also the $20. From reading online this is a known problem and has been for some time. Ambient’s website has over 160 reviews of the replacement power supply going back over four years! No telling how many replacement power supplies have been sold over that time period at a nice profit to Ambient, and how many customers like me wasted time trying to figure out the problem. This experience was not good. Ambient should fix the problem!

So far having the WS-2000 for less than two weeks. The station has been connected to the console, maybe a total of two hours.
Very Frustrating!!! Constant battle to keep it connected. Think twice before buying, wish I did!

I purchased a rain funnel spike to keep birds from messing in the funnel. It was reasonably priced, arrived quickly, and easily installed.

Worked great but disappointed that my weather station is no longer supported after a couple years

Emailed Customer Service to see if my system would support a second video display in another room. Received a quick and detailed response with a link to the product I needed. Ordered it. Shipping was fast and efficient. Now have a second display working flawlessly.

Customer service was very helpful and easy to work with. I’m not sure why they changed my case number though after I had a part ordered. It would’ve been nice if the part had installation instructions although after talking to customer service, I was able to get it figured out and it corrected my issue.

I recently purchased the 4000 weather system and am really enjoying it so far purchasing was easy and the shipping was quick as well I love the features that it came with and being able to pull up my station on the app and look at it from anywhere is pretty cool. I recommend this system to anyone looking for a good quality weather system
