My console stopped working. Checking the internet, several people said all you need is a new $10 power cable, not a new $200 console. Worth a try, I figured. I called Ambient to check and they confirmed it. I ordered the cable and the console works just fine now.
One critique: it's a USB cable, and it doesn't come with a wall plug. It's a common issue these days, but it's annoying.

My house has a brick facade and hurricane resistant windows (double glass), so I was worried that the signal wouldn't get through. The unit is 50 feet away and I have 4 bars of strength! Works great all the time.

Excellent performance, good tech support, but instruction manual is very poorly designed and assumes you already understands how to set things up before you read the instructions.

A pleasant online ordering experience. Ambient Weather had the product that I wanted in stock, a Stratus CoCoRaHS RG202 rain gauge. It was competitively priced and manufactured in the United States. Shipping was quick and the rain gauge arrived in in good condition.
